This study aims to understand the partiality of Kemi trilogy by Adian Husaini and its impact on the aesthetic of the novel. This is a quantitative study using a methodology of aesthetics established by Dewit H. Parker. The result shows two patterns of partiality. First, the author ignores the "show don't tell method" in the novel. Second, the author tends to use flat characterization. Thus, it affects the balance of the novel that is determined by the contradictory pattern. The result of this study can be used as teaching material on Literary Criticism subject.
