This report describes results of an investigation of geomorphic processes affecting fluvial systems in the energy-resource areas of Wyoming. The purpose of the investigation was to provide information needed for land-use planning and for design of drainage systems that are disturbed by energyrelated developments, particularly from surface mining. Additional studies of channel pattern and hydraulic-geometry relations for stream channels also are needed.
