Bei der Umsetzung von Cyclopropylcarbinol und Cyclobutanol mit Fluorwasserstoff entsteht Cyclobutylfluorid und 4‐Fluor‐ buten‐(1). Daneben bilden sich Äther. Cyclobuten reagiert nur langsam unter Bildung von Cyclobutylfluorid. Die Darstellung von Fluormethylcyclopropylketon wird beschrieben.

Die Solvolyse zahlreicher Sulfonate (I) wird untersucht, um das Auftreten von Aryl‐Kationen zu beweisen.
