He received his B.Sc. degree from Universidad Catolica, Chile, in 1957 and a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in 1960, His research interests are in the areas of fats and oils, artificial sweeteners, and thermodynamics.Michael Holin is a chemical engineer in charge of the photochemicals plant of Makhteshim Chemical Works, Beer-Sheva, Israel. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. He is also working part-time in projects related to the industrial development of jojoba products.
