FDTD is a method that is applied in the simulation of electromagnetic waves. This study aims to simulate the propagation of electromagnetic waves on a material with conductivity and permittivity on the plate. The approximate form of Maxwell’s equations can be used to describe discrete electromagnetic waves. Signal analysis in the form of electromagnetic waves using position domains for magnetic field H and electric field E. By taking into consideration boundary conditions, stability, and boundary conditions, the proposed research employs the basic concept of differential equation method. The simulation results show that materials with high conductivity will cause the waves to decay. Under certain conditions, the relationship between the shape of the field to changes in conductivity and permittivity of the material is needed in the analysis process.
Dalam membantu memecahkan persamaan dinamika kompleks baik secara translasi maupun rotasi, fisika komputasi dapat digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perbedaan dinamika sistem stroller dengan kendala non-holonomik di berbagai ruang konfigurasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perhitungan matematis persamaan lagrange pada sistem mekanik stroller (kereta bayi). Metode ini digunakan karena dapat menurunkan persamaan stroller yang bergerak di bola pepat. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah persamaan dinamika dan grafik persamaan stroller dengan atau tanpa gesekan yang bergerak pada bidang lengkung berbentuk bola pepat. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk membuktikan konsep-konsep fisika tentang dinamika stroller dengan menggunakan komputasi fisika dan juga untuk menentukan sifat kompleks gerak stroller, baik secara translasi maupun rotasi.
It is challenging to picture the physical phenomenon known as electromagnetic wave simulation. The purpose of this work is to model the propagation of electromagnetic waves on a two-dimensional medium. FDTD is a method that is quite relevant to be used in visualizing electromagnetic waves. One can utilise Maxwell's equations to describe discrete electromagnetic waves having TM mode. The simulation is in the form of a Gaussian pulse with the magnetic field H and the electric field E having position and time domains, respectively. The proposed simulation conditions have considered the program's boundary conditions and numerical stability. The differential equation method methodology is used in the FDTD method. The simulation results show that the wave without PML is impeccably reflected, and with PML, the wave is reflected by the material utilized. Materials with high conductivity will make the waves decay and reduce their intensity. This research can be used in the investigation of materials and communication media innovation.
Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Negara Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 16 Tahun 2009 Tentang Jabatan Fungsional Guru dan Angka Kreditnya, salah satu persyaratan kenaikan pangkat dan golongan guru adalah membuat karya tulis ilmiah/artikel ilmiah. Disisi lain, mayoritas guru sudah pernah melakukan penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) namun hanya sebagian kecil dari mereka yang memiliki pengalaman mengubah laporan PTK-nya menjadi sebuah artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam sebuah jurnal ilmiah. Masih banyak guru yang merasa kesulitan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah, khususnya para guru Fisika yang tergabung dalam satuan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Fisika Kota Surabaya. Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dari Jurusan Fisika FMIPA Unesa mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah untuk memfasilitasi publikasi anggota MGMP Fisika Kota Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah penyampaian materi, pengadaan contoh dan pendampingan. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dalam pelatihan antara lain penyampaian materi dan pengadaan contoh artikel ilmiah, penulisan draft artikel ilmiah, evaluasi hasil draft artikel ilmiah, pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah dan pendampingan submit artikel. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai hal-hal penting dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah sebesar 84%. Kegiatan pelatihan juga mendapatkan respon baik dari para peserta yang dapat dilihat dari penilaian tinggi pada angket evaluasi kegiatan. Draft artikel ilmiah dari peserta yang terkumpul mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 76 dari 100 yang menunjukkan kemampuan peserta sudah cukup baik. Selanjutnya, kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif pada anggota MGMP Fisika kota Surabaya terutama dalam peningkatan artikel ilmiah baik dalam segi kualitas dan kuantitas Scientific Article Writing Training to Facilitate Publication of MGMP Physics Surabaya Members Based on the Regulation of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 16 of 2009 concerning Teacher Functional Positions and Credit Scores, one of the requirements for promotion and class of teachers is to write scientific papers/scientific articles. On the other hand, most teachers have conducted classroom action research (CAR). Still, only a small number of them have experience turning their CAR reports into articles published in a scientific journal. Many teachers still find it challenging to write scientific articles, especially Physics teachers who are members of the Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) Physics Surabaya. The Community Service Team (PKM) from the Physics Department of FMIPA Unesa held a scientific article writing training activity to facilitate the publication of Physics MGMP members in Surabaya. The workshop method is material presentation, procuring samples, and mentoring. The stages of training include delivering material and providing examples of scientific articles, writing drafts of scientific articles, evaluating the results of scientific articles manuscript, assisting in writing scientific articles, and assisting in submitting articles. The result of the workshop activities is the increase in participants' understanding of necessary matters in writing scientific articles by 84%. The training activities also received a good response from the participants, which can be seen from the high ratings on the activity evaluation questionnaire. The scientific articles manuscript from the collected participants received an average score of 76 out of 100, which showed that the participants' abilities were quite good. Furthermore, this PKM activity is expected to have a positive impact on members of the Surabaya City Physics MGMP, especially in increasing scientific articles both in terms of quality and quantity.
