The goal of work is to design cost-effective electromyography (EMG) signal acquisition system using GNP/FE electrode. EMG signal represent the muscle action potentials. Acquisition of EMG signal using Ag/AgCl and GNP/FE3O4@PVDF Surface Electrodes along with Arduino UNO. GNP/FE3O4@PVDF Electrodes with three different concentrations (1.5:1.5, 2:1, 3:0) are designed to acquire EMG signal for different age groups. EMG signal is Pre-processed by using wavelet transform. Performance of acquired EMG signal is measured with parameters like error percentage, correlation co-efficient, signal to noise ratio (SNR). The designed GNP/FE3O4@PVDF with 3:0 ratio shows good performance to acquire EMG for all age groups with minimal error and nominal SNR.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
