A bastactBusiness-to-business transactions requires interactions between diverse applications and businesses. This gives rise to the need to f o r a common standard and protocol f o r exchanging business messages. Severu 1 consortiums and companies have developed frameworks that aim at achieving interoperability between businesses, so as to ease the entire process to B2B e-commerce. Among the well noted is RosettaNet. RnsettaNet develops XML based business standards for supply chain partners in the hi-technology industry. These standards address the issue of interoperability by defining business processes and pvovidirig technical specqications for exchunging data. This paper describes a software solution for application integration by implementing the RosettaNet standards. The prototype application developed is a platform independent B2B integration software solution based on the specifications.
