AC optimal power flow (ACOPF) is a nonlinear and non-convex problem that might include various constraints. The methods in the literature for solving this problem may suffer from premature convergence and high computational effort. In this study, ACOPF is formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) that allows problem modeling with a closer look at the limitations of actual operating conditions along with other common constraints.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
