This study aims to identify and identify life skills education through non-formal education for persons with physical disabilities. Individuals who have physical limitations are called persons with physical disabilities. In the social environment, society tends to give negative stigma to people with physical disabilities and other problems that are in the spotlight are the low participation and provision of job opportunities for people with disabilities in obtaining work. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is sourced from secondary data obtained from documents, journals related and in line with physical disabilities and life skills education for physical disabilities. The result of this literature review is that empowerment of disabled groups must be carried out to increase participation in various fields of social life with adequate and relevant work skills. Skill enhancement is provided to gain accessibility for persons with disabilities, one of which is through non-formal education programs, namely life skills education. Vocational rehabilitation as a form of life skills education through non-formal education is carried out by providing services in the form of skills training activities that aim to cultivate, develop and increase the potential possessed by persons with disabilities, especially persons with physical disabilities.
This study aims to find out what are the difficulties of tutors who hold degrees non-educational in the learning process of study group in Binjai. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with the research subjects were two tutors of learning groups holding non-education bachelor’s degrees in Binjai city which were determined purposively. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Collected data is analyzed by steps: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results showed that in the package B learning group learning process in Binjai City, tutors with non-education degrees had many difficulties in the learning process. The conclusion that can be obtained in this study is the difficulties identified are located in: (1) the learning planning process, namely the difficulty in preparing RPP and syllabus. (2) the process of implementing learning, namely difficulties in preliminary activities, core activities (exploration, elaboration, confirmation), closing activities, and (3) assessment of learning outcomes.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi: (1) context, (2) input, (3) process dan (4) product program pelatihan pengolahan limbah kertas semen yang diselenggarakan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Cahaya. Penelitian evaluasi ini menggunakan model CIPP yang dikembangkan oleh Stufflebeam (2001) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian dalam evaluasi ini yaitu 21 orang peserta pelatihan keterampilan, lima orang fasilitator pelatihan, dan satu orang penyelenggara program. Instrumen pengumpul data penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuisioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert, Acuan penilaian kriteria yang dipakai adalah penilaian acuan patokan (PAP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek context, input, process program pelatihan pengolahan limbah kertas semen berada dalam kategori baik. Sementara aspek product program pelatihan pengolahan limbah kertas semen berada dalam kategori tidak baik. Program pelatihan pengolahan limbah kertas semen dapat dilanjutkan dengan memodifikasi/memperbaiki komponen-komponen program pelatihan terutama pada komponen produk karena kekurangan yang paling menonjol terletak pada aspek produk yaitu ketidakmampuan penyelenggara program dalam memasarkan hasilhasil keterampilan peserta pelatihan. This evaluation study used the CIPP model developed by Stufflebeam (2001) with a quantitative descriptive approach. Research sample in this evaluation are 21 skill trainee, five training facilitator, and one program organizer. The instrument of collecting research data used is questionnaires using Likert scale. The criterion criterion reference used is benchmark reference assessment. The results showed that the context, input, and processing process of the cement paper waste processing training process were in good category. Meanwhile, product aspect of cement paper waste processing training program is in bad category. The training program for cement paper waste treatment can be continued by modifying / improving the components of the training program especially on the product component because the most notable deficiency lies in the product aspect ie the inability of the program organizers in marketing the skill results of the trainees. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemberdayaan perempuan, inovasi dalam membuat kerajinan anyaman, dan faktor-faktor pendukung serta penghambat keberhasilan pemberdayaan perempuan di Desa Pondok Sei Piring. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif metode studi kasus. Sumber data yang diteliti adalah ketua kelompok wirausaha pondok, pengelola rumah kerajinan, dan pengrajin anyaman. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data, sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pemberdayaan pengrajin anyaman di Rumah Kerajinan Pulau Raja yaitu melakukan pelatihan, melakukan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Inovasi yang dilakukan yaitu inovasi proses dan produk yang menghasilkan jenis anyaman dan metode pemasaran kekinian yang dapat diaplikasikan pada kerajinan anyaman. Faktor pendukungnya ialah adanya integrasi dana desa, lokasi desa dan bentuk rumah, serta pusat pelatihan perempuan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu minimnya keterlibatan warga, semakin menipisnya stok generasi penerus dan persaingan harga.</p>
This study aims to reveal how product innovation assistance from palm oil waste during the Covid-19 period was carried out in Sei Piring Village, Asahan Regency. The oil palm industry is a macro industry for the source of income for the sei plate villagers. Oil palm is the only resource managed by local communities. As a result of the large number of palm oil industries, the waste of oil palm sticks has become the center of attention by the local community. Especially the housewives in Sei Piring village who wanted to turn the palm oil stick waste into goods that had high selling value as a source of additional income. The lack of skills in the utilization of palm oil stick waste has made local housewives only use palm oil waste to become household broom sticks. The lack of skills in this stick waste innovation has made the villagers of Sei Piring village, especially housewives, unable to develop other crafts. So that the sticky waste is not used very much and has less selling power in the market. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, the invasion / decline in the economy was felt by the people of Sei Piring village.
