In the mining industry, as a dangerous industry related to the specifics of its production, in particular, the process of risk management and analysis should be taken into account. One of the main reasons of occupational accidents, in addition to human error and technical failures, is the lack of foresight of possible accidental events, and the lack of assessment by a company of the risks associated with occupational safety. The article considers the main risks in the mining industry, analyses the problems of modern systems of risk assessment and management of mining investment projects, methods and sequence of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, provides recommendations for their improvement in order to bring them in line with international risk management standards.
The war broken out by Russia against Ukraine caused a violation of the financial balance in the world and resulted in the need to reform the existing structure of the world financial architectonics. The purpose of the paper is to study the problems, identify threats and risks of the functioning of the world financial architectonics; develop and substantiate the directions for its reformation in current conditions. To achieve the purpose, it has been investigated the essence of the term "financial architectonics" and determined its difference from the term "financial architecture". The author's definition of the essence of world financial architecture has been provided, which refers to the development potential of the world economy, world financial and currency systems, and world financial market, which is based on the close interaction of all participants of the world financial space in the direction of forecasting, planning and timely response to all challenges and threats of external and internal environment in order to reduce the negative impact of global financial risks on the world financial security. The problems, threats and risks of the functioning of the world financial architectonics have been identified. Among the main ones are the growth of inflation; deterioration of logistics; destabilization of the situation on the energy market; food and social crises in many countries of the world. The directions for reforming the world financial architectonics in current conditions have been developed and substantiated. The main directions of reforming the world financial architectonics include the need for digitalization, informatization and networking of the world financial space; the development of a cyber security strategy, the global economy and national economies of the world, as well as increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the international financial policy.
У статті розглянуто основні шляхи вдосконалення фінансового забезпечення сфери охорони здоров’я в Україні. Досліджено сучасні підходи до трактування дефініції «медичне страхування», критичне узагальнення яких дозволило виокремити особливості їх застосування. Проаналізовано характерні риси медичного страхування за допомогою світового досвіду та здійснено ретельний розгляд їх застосування у провідних країнах світу. Акцентовано увагу на необхідності впровадження медичного страхування як одного з ключових інструментів у механізмі фінансового забезпечення сфери охорони здоров’я в Україні. Запропоновано відповідні заходи для покращення підходів до фінансового забезпечення сфери охорони здоров’я, які дозволили сформувати авторське бачення концепції медичного страхування в Україні.
The issues connected with financial support for territorial communities were relevant for an extended period of time and have become especially acute recently. One of the effective ways for financial problem-solving at the level of territorial communities is the practical use of financial engineering tools.Financial engineering can be applied in various areas of the financial system; however, it is most actively used in the financial market and in the banking system of Ukraine. Financial engineering is a relatively new concept that does not have a single definition both at the legislative level and in scientific economic literature.Considering all the above-mentioned, the purpose of the article is to study the economic essence of financial engineer-ing and to substantiate the possibilities of using its tools at the level of local finances to improve the financial support for territorial communities in Ukraine.To achieve the goal, the article examines the financial risks of the functioning of territorial communities in modern conditions. The goals and concepts of financial engineering at the level of territorial communities have been identified and substantiated.The article reveals the essenceof financial engineering as a theoretical and practical basis for the development and implementation of strategies for financial support for the development of territorial communities, ensuring the financial au-tonomy of local self-government bodies and financial independence of local budgets based on the use of modern financial innovations, financial technologies for financial problem-solving and the use of financial opportunities. The role of financial engineering in financial support for the development of territorial communities in modern conditions has been revealed and substantiated. The typology of financial engineering tools and the scope of their practical application have been presented.It has been noted that financial engineering tools are aimed at achieving the financial goals of territorial communities.
