With the rapid emergence of autonomous vehicles, there is a need to build such communication systems which help the passengers to communicate with autonomous vehicles (AVs) robustly. In this regard, this research work presents a multimodal passenger communication system. The communication system is known as "buddy" for AVs. Buddy is an all in one control system for AVs which incorporates touch, speech, text, and emotion recognition methods of interaction. Buddy makes it easy for passengers to interact with AVs. It enables the communication between the passengers and the AV which eventually provides a safe driving experience. Moreover, we have proposed and developed our own simulator two evaluate the performance of our proposed passenger communication system. We have also conducted extensive infield-tests to test the effectiveness of the proposed system. The extensive rigor analysis validates the results and hence the significance of the proposed passenger communication system.
The study adopted was a quantitative research approach with a descriptive cross sectional research design "A Descriptive cross sectional Institution based study on knowledge, practice and attitude towards exclusive breastfeeding among mothers attending immunization clinic at selected rural health centers of Jabalpur district with view to develop health instructional module." The population comprises of 40infants mother attending immunization clinic at selected rural health centers CHC Patan of Jabalpur district. A purposive sampling technique used to select the samples. A structured knowledge checklist, practice checklist and likert scale for attitude was develop to collect the data. Health instructional module was developed and distributed to all mother who are sample if study after data collection. Reliability if 5he tool was calculated by Karl Pearson Co-relation coefficient and tool was found to be reliable r=0.79. The pilot was carried out. The objectives were achieved through finding of score the value found by doing Pilot study shown that the 20 mothers have average knowledge about exclusive breast feeding, 17 mothers have average practice and 29 mothers have positive attitude towards exclusive breast feeding. The mean value of knowledge 17.05, SD. .987, Mean value of practice was 16.65 and SD .829 and attitude mean was 17.82 and SD .499. The knowledge and practice had negative correlation. The association of knowledge with education was significant, association of practice with parity was significant and association of attitude with monthly income was significant. Conclusion: In this study found that the mother's average knowledge and positive attitude towards exclusive breast feeding but practice rate is low due to poor guidance during postnatal period. Need proper guidance about proper position of the baby and proper attachment and of newborn with mother's breast.
Stress is an imbalance between environmental demands and adolescence's coping resources that disrupts the equilibrium of the adolescence. In view the objective of the present study was quantitative, pre-experimental evaluative research approach (pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test). In the present study the target population consists of adolescent children age 14-17 years. The sample size was 100. The investigator adopted the purposive sampling technique. Assessment of pre-test perceived level of stress among adolescent was 0 (0%) adolescent had no stress, 6(6%) adolescents had mild stress, 73(73%) had moderate stress and 21 (21%) had severe stress. Assessment of post-test perceived level of stress among adolescent was 6(6%) adolescents had no stress, 79(79%) adolescents had mild stress, 11(11%) had moderate stress and 4 (4%) had severe stress. The mean score of pre-test perceived level of stress among adolescent was 43.92. The mean score of post-test perceived level of stress among adolescent was 28.04.The mean difference of perceived level of stress in pre-test and post-test was 15.88 with standard deviation in pre-test was 13.76 and post-test was 12.19 and calculated t-value was 1.92 Hence above finding concluded that relaxation therapy is effective in reducing perceived level of stress among adolescents.
Background: Every year an estimated 119,000 children experience some type of abuse. Child abuse is not just physical violence directed at a child. It is any form of mal treatment by an adult, which is violent or threatening for a child this includes neglect. Child abuse is any behavior that harms a child in this case anyone under 18 year of age. Aim: the aim of the study was to assess the knowledge of child abuse among B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year students.
Objectives:1. To assess the knowledge of B.Sc. Nursing 3 rd year students regarding child abuse. 2. To evaluate the effectiveness of plan teaching programme among B.Sc. Nursing 3 rd year students regarding child abuse. 3. To find out association between pretest knowledge score of B.Sc. Nursing 3 rd year students regarding child abuse with their selected demographic variables. Methodology: 100 B.Sc. Nursing 3 rd year students were sample from selected college of nursing. Results: Study finding showed significant difference between mean pretest knowledge score 3.11 and posttest Knowledge score 4.12 thus it shows effectiveness on knowledge of planned teaching programme.
A non-experimental descriptive survey approach was undertaken in the present study "a study to assess the skills regarding immediate newborn care and knowledge on identification of danger signs with a view to develop its protocol among B.Sc. nursing final year students in a selected college of nursing". Findings of the study reveal that there is moderately positive correlation between skills regarding immediate newborn care and knowledge related to identification of danger signs in newborn as calculated coefficient of correlation (0.20) < critical value (0.25). The findings of the present study have implications for nursing practice, nursing administration, nursing education and nursing research.
