Abstract-As a subsidiary discipline of translation theory, eco-translatology cultivates translating behavior from the perspectives of integral correlation, macroscopic arrangement and multi-dimensional adaptation. This theory is proposed by Pro. Hu Gengshen originally, and emphasizes multi-dimensional adjustment of lingual dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. Due to the limitation and high requirement about interpreting test, English examination adopts pure translating test to measure students' translation levels instead of interpreting check. Translation course has played more and more significant role in college English course on reading and writing. Eco-translatology theory is utilized in college translation teaching in order to equip students with new understanding of translation standard and distinct insight on meaning for betterment both in teaching effect and translating ability.
Abstract-Thinking aloud method has been used to describe and study the cognitive evolution of human beings in the process of dealing with problems. Thinking aloud means speaks out the immediate thoughts and all the information in the minds at any time and place when people are engaged in a task, which can also be understood as the behavior of using voice to express the state of mind. This paper adopts the thinking-aloud method to describe students' cognitive process, comparative analysis process of problem solving, the thinking and judgment process in the college English listening and speaking course, which helps to further improve and optimize the teaching methods and improve the students' English comprehensive ability.
Eco-translatology here is not an independent subject category, but can be understood as the translation research through an ecological approach or an ecological perspective to translation study. By focusing on the integrity of the translation ecosystem, from the perspective of ecotranslatology, taking the narrative way of eco-translatology, the Eco-translatology makes new descriptions and explanations of the nature, process, standards, principles, methods and phenomena of translation. It is pointed out in this paper that the Students play a dominant and central role in translation teaching and follow the translation methods of three-dimensional transformation, making an adaptive selection for the translation. This paper aims to explore the feasibility of college English translation teaching from the perspective of eco-translatology. Based on the analysis of the current situation of college English translation teaching, this paper attempts to explore the non-English professional translation teaching mode under the guidance of ecological translation theory, so that translation teaching can be carried out anytime and anywhere.
Eco-translatology exercises its inventive mind and adopts an unconventional approach to guide translation with a harmonious and multidimensional perspective and a new researching paradigm. To analyze the college translation course from eco-translatology perspective and decode it from the dimensions of linguistics, culture and communication and the level of choice and adaption. The emergence of eco-translatology not only injects vitality into the current translation theory research, but also provides theoretical support for the new model of college English translation teaching, effectively the status quo of students' weak initiative and poor translation ability in translation teaching. This paper will provide an analysis and necessities on applying multidimensional transformation theory to college English translation teaching from the theoretical principles and practical aspects of eco-translatology.
