Pertinent to the multi-shaft synchronous control precision of printing press with shaft-less drive, the artificial potential field algorithm in the flocking motion control method is introduced and the traditional artificial potential field control strategy is given. This control strategy allows the rapid tracking of target value. However, in the traditional artificial potential field control arithmetic, there is no mutual relationship between various follower motors, which is unable to maintain the high synchronization performance. In this paper, the improved artificial potential field is proposed and the attractive force between adjacent motors is considered. The attractive force will drive the low speed motor to follow other motor rapidly. The experiment results demonstrate the improved artificial potential field control strategy makes the motor synchronization performance higher.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
