this paper presents a solution for high voltage current transformers onsite ratio and angle errors measurements, using a an optical current transducer with fibber sensor, based on Faraday effect as reference standard, suitable for live line installation up to 550 kV. The system is described; its performance results are presented, as well as field applications and results. Some limitations that have to be overcome to obtain a reasonable measurement uncertainty are also discussed.
This paper presents an alternative method for precision electrical power sources calibration. As traditional method, the proposed method uses a power and energy standard, but also employs a frequency standard. Calibration results for both methods are discussed and their advantages are pointed out.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
