Source of materialThe title compound was obtained using the synthetic method described earlier [5,6]. A mixture of dimethylaniline (7.24 mmol) in 4.5 mL of HCl/water (1:1) was cooled at 0-5°C and added dropwise a solution of sodium nitrite 525 mg (7.60 mmol) in 30 mL of water. The resulting mixture was stirred for 10 min, then it was slowly added a solution of sodium azide (612 mg, 9.41 mmol) in 60 mL of cold
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
