Weak urinary stream, frequency and urgency were the most prevalent symptoms, while urgency, nocturia and hesitancy were the most bothersome symptoms. In contrast to weak urinary stream and hesitancy, the bothersomeness of incomplete emptying and frequency was strongly associated with well-being.
