Rural tourism is a determining element for the development of rural areas, and with the wealth and diversity of natural resources, the historical, artistic and cultural heritage that Andalusia and the province of Córdoba have, they make possible the boom of the sector analyzed in this region. For the demand for rural tourism to be significant and generate tourist and economic development, the appropriate marketing strategies must be implemented once the profile of the rural tourist has been established. With the appearance of COVID-19, tourism has been affected, although the rural tourism reflect a smaller drop compared with other related sectors.
