Abstratct The goal of this paper is to extend the debate about the border territory from the analysis of "Serra da Mesa" Lake construction, in the north of Goiás state. Border is an ambiguous category and it has been little argued in Geography. In its study, border will be approached while social and spatial limit, that separates and delimits realities. The enterprise and the various agreements of territory and border will be discussed. Then, identities and alteridades (no-identities?) will be focused as well as the recognition of identities territories. Finally, some of perspectives for territories and territorialities will be pointed in relation to the new social dynamics in the persistence and construction of identities.
Submicron-thick films of graphene oxide and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) were deposited onto the surface of 160 MHz quartz surface acoustic wave (SAW) delay lines, and manufactured devices were used as humidity sensors. Films were obtained by consecutive atomization of 0.35 μl droplets of 0.33 mg/ml graphene oxide water suspension or 5.00 mg/ml PVA water solution using 25 MHz SAW atomizers. During measurements authors did not observe additional attenuation of the surface acoustic wave propagating along the surface of the sensors, which confirms that deposited films have low thickness and good uniformity. It was shown that SAW quartz humidity sensors with graphene oxide films, PVA thin films and uncoated surface have sensitivity of 1.54 kHz/%RH, 0.47 kHz/%RH and 0.13 kHz/%RH respectively. Sensors with graphene oxide thin films showed the best sensitivity and dynamic response. It was concluded that they can be used as sensitive coatings in humidity sensors for industrial environment.
AbstractThis is an essay with the purpose of outlining some reflections on themes which emerge from a postmodernity process of the geographical discourse. The focus is on one aspect of the geographical practice: the discourse. By taking into account that in the Cultural Geography there has been an increased motivation to understand it in all its dimensions, this proposal on the new discursive practices that geography inspires, will enrich it. Yet it will be briefly outlined two existing categories in the interstices of the discourses of postmodernity: the invisible and intangible assets in the context of geography. It is taken for granted that in the midst of the current philosophical and epistemological streams, the emerging alternative discursive practices propitiate research opportunities and enrich the dialogue with and among geographers.Key words: Postmodernity, Discourse, Cultural geography, Invisible, Intangible. .
