The aim is to test the efficiency of the teaching methods that are based on graphic symbols and mathematical operations, on a learning unit from the 12th grade syllabus. The teaching experiment took place at Sports Program High School, Suceava, in 2018, and it included two classes of students. It was pressumed, to the extent that these methods would confirm their sustainability in the teaching-learning-assessing contents of a single learning unit, ”The Structure of the sports practice” – which is specific to the ”Theoretical Sports Trening” school subject, they would be responsive to generate similar effects to the level of other contents from the curriculum. The results of this research offer the guaranty that can become a pre-experiential stage, that could constitute a starting point for a subsequent teaching research that would engage a large number of material, procedural and time resources with far more visible effects in the teaching environment.
The research carried out investigated how the variables related to the gender (male/female) and the environment of the subjects (rural/urban) have an influence on the perception of new experimental methods implemented in order to develop the cognitive dimension skills in the “Theoretical sports training” discipline. The aim of the research is conducted following the criteria of gender analysis (girls, boys) and origin environment (rural, urban) involved in the way the subjects of the experiment class have perceived and adapted to the new methods implemented in the pedagogical experiment, by comparison with those in the control class.
The aim of this research is to identify and analyse the causes that have influenced the total number of student places and career paths of graduates of a sports-program high school. In this sociological research, the case study method was used, which had in the foreground the Sports Program Suceava High school, from Romania. The sampling comprised the high school grade students (XI-XII), registered from September 2015 to August 2019. The objectives of the study are to determine the main variables that have generated major changes in the total number of student places’ architecture and in graduate career choices. Socio-economic causes and educational policies justify the high flow of requests for transfer from this high school to other educational establishments, especially in the first year of training (IXth grade), but also to the school unit under consideration (frequent requests in the XIth grade). Unsustainable education policies, in relation to the requirements and exigencies of sport performance, but also the permissive legislation on operational transfer procedures, have a bearing on sporting performance, graduate career paths and, last but not least, on the ethical code (or it should have it) a sports-program high school. The psycho-intellectual development and psycho-behavioural development of sports students in an accessible school environment, tenderer and adapted to his own needs, can only be achieved through a continuous effort, in conjunction with a joint effort between school-parents-local authorities and institutions with legislative leverage.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
