The insulin binding index was studied in a group of growth-onset diabetic children. There was a significant difference between diabetic children and normal adults and children. No statistical distinctions could be drawn between the diabetic children on the basis of (1) insulin dosage in the range studied (6 to 75 U.), and (2) duration of disease.
