Objective: to identify the prevalence of suicidal behavior in young university students. Method: a systematic review with meta-analysis of cross-sectional studies based on the Joanna Briggs Institute proposal, and carried out in the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, PsycINFO and LILACS databases and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, with no language or year restrictions. A total of 2,942 publications were identified. Selection, data extraction and methodological evaluation of the studies were performed by two independent researchers. The meta-analysis was performed considering the random effects model. Results: eleven articles were included in this review. The prevalence variation for suicidal ideation was from 9.7% to 58.3% and, for attempted suicide, it was from 0.7% to 14.7%. The meta-analysis showed a 27.1% prevalence for suicidal ideation in life, 14.1% for ideation in the last year, and 3.1% for attempted suicide in life. Conclusion: the high prevalence of suicidal behavior, even with the considerable heterogeneity of the studies, raises the need to implement interventions aimed at preventing suicide and promoting mental health, especially in the academic environment.
Objective: To analyze the scientific evidences of the use of Reiki as a care strategy to people in mental suffering. Methods: Integrative review in the databases PubMed, Scielo, Web of Science, and BVS. The study included articles in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, with no time restriction, which answer to the guiding question that was created in accordance to the PICo strategy: “What are the scientific evidences on the use of Reiki as a care strategy to people in mental suffering?” Gray literature was not considered. Results: Ten articles made up the final sample. The use of the Reiki therapy had benefits as a strategy to care for stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms, pain relief, and quality of life improvements, whether the therapy was used isolated or to complement other treatments. Conclusion: The development of the competence of nurses and other health professionals in the use of Reiki can contribute to improve the quality standards of care.

Objetivo: discutir as evidências científicas produzidas na literatura sobre o impacto da violência no ambiente escolar na saúde mental de adolescentes lésbicas. Métodos: revisão integrativa de literatura, utilizando descritores controlados e termos alternativos nas bases de dados MEDLINE, WOS, LILACS, SCOPUS, CINAHL, SciELO e BDENF. Resultados: foram selecionados quatro artigos que relacionam fortemente as experiências de violência e vitimização contra as lésbicas com problemas relacionados aos indicadores de saúde mental e de risco. As meninas demonstraram números superiores aos dos meninos quanto ao uso de substâncias, comportamentos de risco e transtornos mentais. Conclusão: as experiências de violência e insegurança na escola de adolescentes lésbicas são diferentes daqueles de alunos heterossexuais. O papel do enfermeiro no contexto da saúde sexual de adolescentes deve buscar identificar situações de vulnerabilidades e promover o livre exercício da percepção da sexualidade, a autonomia corporal, o reconhecimento de direitos sexuais, de saúde e controle dos sofrimentos e desgastes psicoemocionais.
