This study aims to know and analyze the relationship of leadership principal teaching and work discipline to student academic achievement in school. This research uses quantitative method, the data is analyzed by using descriptive statistic and inference. Data collection using instruments, instruments compiled from various sources tailored to the research method used. The study was conducted on teachers in elementary schools in Jakarta. The study shows that there is a positive and significant correlation between the principal's teaching leadership and the students 'academic achievement with the correlation correlation value of 0.454, there is a significant correlation between the teacher's work discipline with the students' academic achievement with the correlation value of 0.576. From the results of the study can be concluded that the improvement and improving the quality of student achievement can be done with the improvement and improvement of the leadership quality of teaching the principal and the discipline of teacher work. Student achievement can develop well with the help and touch of a principal through good school management, as well as the discipline of a teacher in carrying out his work as an educator so that will provide a good quality of learning process also with the expected achievement of student learning achievement high in school.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan kepemimpinan pengajaran kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja terhadap prestasi akademik siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen, instrumen disusun dari pelbagai sumber yang disesuaikan dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap guru-guru di Sekolah Dasar di Jakarta. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan pengajaran kepala sekolah dengan prestasi akademik siswa dengan nilai hubungan korelasi sebesar 0.454, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara disiplin kerja guru dengan prestasi akademik siswa dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.576. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbaikan dan peningkatkan kualitas prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan adanya perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan pengajaran kepala sekolah serta adanya kedisiplinan kerja guru. Prestasi belajar siswa dapat berkembang dengan baik dengan adanya bantuan dan sentuhan dari seorang kepala sekolah melalui pengelolaan sekolah yang baik, serta adanya kedisiplinan seorang guru dalam melaksanakan pekerjaanya sebagai seorang tenaga pendidik sehingga akan memberikan kualitas proses pembelajaran yang baik pula dengan harapan tercapainya prestasi belajar siswa yang tinggi di sekolah. Professional learning communities (PLC) is one of the strategies to enhance teacher learning which have gained attention in educational institutions all over the world. Professional learning community research has contributed various types of models to explain the ways PLC practiced in detail. We, hence, performed a systematic literature review on professional learning community models’ dimensions in this paper using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, as well as Google Scholar were used to identify the papers for this study. These findings can guide teachers and assist stakeholders towards the implementation of Professional Learning Communities.
