Indonesia government has planned that all of the cosmetics distributed in Indonesia must have the halal certification in 2019. Therefore, it is important for Muslims in Indonesia to have a halal awareness in consuming cosmetics and skincare products. This study explores what variables influence the halal awareness of Muslim millennials towards their decision in choosing cosmetics/skincare. As far as the researchers' knowledge, until now there is no research about halal awareness on Muslim millennials generation in Indonesia. This research will fill the gap by determining the impact of halal awareness factors to cosmetics selection decision especially for Muslim millennials in Bandung. There are 143 university students' samples across Bandung which consist of Islamic university and other university students. By using PLS structural equation modelling, the results show that the knowledge of Halal Products significantly influences the Islamic understanding which indirectly affect the Halal cosmetic adoption. This means that their knowledge about halal products makes their awareness of halal product increase as well. This study suggest that halal awareness can be promoted by increasing the halal product knowledge to the Muslim community by using lecture, talks, or public service ads in order to accelerate the Halal certification policy.
Abstract. SEM GSCA (Structural Equation Modelling Generalized Structured Component Analysis) is a method that complements the lack of SEM PLS because it does not provide mechanism to assess overall goodness of fit, it is difficult to determine how well the model fits to data and compare it with model alternative. Meanwhile, SEM GSCA offers global least square optimization criteria to minimize estimation of model parameters and model relationships by minimizing residuals using ALS (Alternating Least Square), it can detect how well the size of model is involved in research. In this study, SEM GSCA was used to identify the factors that influence data driven decision in Village Government. Data driven decision is a decision making based on actual data or observations. Variables of data quality, tool sophistication, analytical skills and bigness of data are the suspected factor that have influence on decision making quality. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with questionnaires to 52 Apparatus who met the criteria for Independent Villages in Ciamis. Based on results, there are positive and significant influence between data quality, tool sophistication and analytical skills on decision making quality. Meanwhile, bigness of data variable has a negative and insignificant effect on decision making quality. Abstrak. SEM GSCA menawarkan kriteria global least square optimization untuk meminimumkan estimasi parameter model dan mengevaluasi model hubungan dengan meminimumkan residual atau galatnya menggunakan ALS (Alternating Least Square), sehingga GSCA dapat mengidentifikasi seberapa baik model pengukuran terlibat dalam penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, SEM GSCA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi data driven decision pada Pemerintah Desa. Data driven decision merupakan pengambilan keputusan yang didasarkan pada data aktual atau hasil pengamatan. Dalam penelitian diduga variabel kualitas data, kecanggihan alat, kemampuan analisis dan data yang besar berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pengambilan keputusan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan membagikan kuisioner pada 52 aparatur Desa yang memenuhi kriteria Desa Mandiri di Kabupaten Ciamis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel kualitas data, kecanggihan alat dan kemampuan analisis terhadap kualitas pengambilan keputusan. Sedangkan pada variabel data yang besar terdapat pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas pengambilan keputusan.
Abstract. Villages must be able to adapt to technological advances. One way to realize the village in the acceptance of technological progress is through the concept of the Digital Village. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is suitable for predicting individual interest in accepting a technology. One of the statistical methods used in analysis using the TAM model is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. SEM is a statistical modeling technique that is highly cross-sectional, linear, and general. SEM is a combination of factor analysis, path analysis, and regression. Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) is a variant-based SEM approach. GSCA is a powerful analytical method for confirmation purposes. In SEM-GSCA the sample size can be very small, the data do not have to be normally distributed, and the indicators can be both reflective and formative. This study aims to determine what factors can influence internet use behavior in the people of Sukaraja Village. conditions and perceived ease of use of the internet affect perceptions of internet usefulness. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of the internet affect attitudes on internet use. Attitudes towards the use of the internet affect the actual use of the internet in the people of Sukaraja Village. Abstrak. Desa harus mampu beradaptasi mengikuti kemajuan teknologi. Salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan desa dalam penerimaan kemajuan teknologi yaitu melalui konsep Desa Digital. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) merupakan model yang cocok digunakan untuk memprediksi minat individu dalam menerima suatu teknologi. Metode statistik yang sering digunakan pada analisis yang menggunakan model TAM salah satunya adalah metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM merupakan teknik modeling statistik yang bersifat sangat cross-sectional, linier, dan umum. SEM merupakan gabungan dari analisis faktor, analisis jalur, dan regresi. Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) merupakan salah satu pendekatan SEM berbasis varian. GSCA merupakan metode analisis yang powerfull guna tujuan konfirmasi. Pada SEM-GSCA ukuran sampel dapat sangat kecil, data tidak harus berdistribusi normal, dan indikator dapat berupa reflektif dan formatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku penggunaan internet pada masyarakat Desa Sukaraja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi yang memfasilitasi berpengaruh terhadap persepsi kemudahan penggunaan internet. Persepsi kemudahan penggunaan dan persepsi kegunaan internet berpengaruh terhadap sikap pada penggunaan internet. Sikap terhadap penggunaan internet berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan internet yang sesungguhnya pada masyarakat Desa Sukaraja.
Abstract. The increasing use of technology has made people switch to ordering plane tickets online. In addition, smartphone ownership makes applications the media most often used to place orders. Even so, the perception of user value is still a problem for flight ticket booking service providers. This is because users still frequently switch services erratically. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the factors that influence the perceived value of users of flight ticket booking applications in Gen Z at the Islamic University of Bandung. This study will link 3 latent variables related to perceived value, namely search features, ease of use, and payment methods. All three latent variables are related to one another. The approach used to determine the relationship between these latent variables is the Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the bootstrap parameter estimation method. This research was conducted to understand the truth of the theoretical concept regarding the factors that influence perceived value. The results showed that each of the two of the four indicators on the variable search features, ease of use and payment methods were significant and showed that all variables had a significant effect on the perceived value variable. The bootstrap estimation results for hypothesis testing also concluded that search feature variables, ease of use, and payment methods have an effect on perceived value. Abstrak. Meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi membuat masyarakat beralih untuk memesan tiket pesawat secara daring. Selain itu, kepemilikan smartphone membuat aplikasi menjadi media yang paling sering digunakan untuk melakukan pemesanan. Meskipun demikian, persepsi nilai pengguna masih menjadi permasalahan penyedia layanan pemesanan tiket pesawat. Hal ini dikarenakan pengguna masih sering berpindah-pindah layanan secara tidak menentu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi nilai pengguna aplikasi pemesanan tiket pesawat pada gen Z di Universitas Islam Bandung. Penelitian ini akan menghubungkan 3 variabel laten yang berkaitan dengan persepsi nilai yaitu fitur pencarian, kemudahan penggunaan, dan metode pembayaran. Ketiga variabel laten yang berbeda saling berkorelasi antara variabel satu dengan yang lainnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel-variabel laten tersebut adalah Metode Structural Equation Modelling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan metode estimasi parameter bootstrap. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami kebenaran konsep teori mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai persepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing dua dari empat indikator pada variabel fitur pencarian, kemudahan penggunaan dan metode pembayaran signifikan dan menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel persepsi nilai. Hasil estimasi dengan bootstrap untuk uji hipotesis juga menyimpulkan bahwa variabel fitur pencarian, kemudahan penggunaan dan metode pembayaran berpengaruh terhadap persepsi nilai.
