Hexacarbonylvanadium reagiert mit Hexachlor-und Hexabromcyclopentadien zu den Halbsandwichkomplexen (qs-CSX5)V(CO), (X = CI, 1; X = Br, 2). Komplex 2 wurde durch Rontgenstrukturanalyse charakterisiert. Mit 1,2,3,4,5-Pentachlorcyclopentadien wird neben 1 auch (qs-CsHC14)V(CO)4 (3) gebildet. 1,2,3,4-Tetrachlor-6-phenylpntafulven und V(CO), reagieren zu (qsC5Cl&H,Ph)V(CO), (4). hexasolventocopper(II) ion in acetic acid is very fast, as expected from the Jahn-Teller effect of the copper(II) ion,2 while the solvent-exchange rate on the copper acetate is much slower, since the latter forms the dimeric structure and the solvated acetic acid molecules at its axial sites are stabilized by hydrogen bonding as depicted in I.Acknowledgment.
