Data Center The prevalence of HST in the world according to WHO is around 7%, 11%, 18%, and 25%, respectively, in the age group 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and over 90 years old. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018, 1.13 billion people in the world suffer from hypertension. This study aimed to determine the effect of Slow Stroke Back Massage on changes in blood pressure Among the elderly with hypertension in Kutaampel Village, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang, West Java. This research method was a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test without control one group design with a sample of 69 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used a quasi-experimental technique, and the type of test used was the Wilcoxon statistical test to determine the effect of slow stroke back massage on changes in blood pressure. As for the results of the study, it can be seen that before the respondent's systolic slow stroke back massage was carried out, it was 150.65 mmHg. Meanwhile, the average diastolic blood pressure of the respondents was 94.04 mmHg. After being given a slow stroke back massage, the respondent was 142.32 mmHg, while the respondent's average diastolic blood pressure was 82.93 mmHg. The results also showed that there was a change in blood pressure before and after the slow stroke back massage intervention with a systolic of 0.000 and a diastolic p-value of 0.000. Based on the analysis of existing data, it can be concluded that there was an effect of slow stroke back massage on changes in blood pressure in the elderly in Kutaampel Village in 2021 with hypertension. Researchers suggest that the slow stroke back massage technique can be applied in the implementation of nursing care in hypertensive patients. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2018 menunjukkan 1,13 miliyar orang di dunia menderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Slow Stroke Back Massage terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada lansia yang mengalami hipertensi di Desa Kutaampel, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental pre-test dan post-test without control one group design. Dengan jumlah sampel 69 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik quasi experiment, dan jenis uji yang digunakan yaitu uji statistik Wilcoxon untuk mengetahui pengaruh slow stroke back massage terhadap perubahan tekanan darah. Adapun hasil penelitian yang dapat diketahui bahwa sebelum dilakukannya slow stroke back massage sistol responden yakni 150,65 mmHg. Sedangkan rerata tekanan darah diastol responden yakni 94,04 mmHg. Sesudah diberikan tindakan slow stroke back massage responden yakni 142,32 mmHg, sedangkan rerata tekanan darah diastol responden yakni 82,93 mmHg. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan pada tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi slow stroke back massage dengan sistolik sebesar 0,000 dan diastole nilai p-value sebesar 0,000. Berdasarakan analisa data yang ada maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada Pengaruh Slow Stroke Back Massage Terhadap Perubahan Tekanan Darah Pada Lansia Di Desa Kutaampel Tahun 2021 hipertensi. Peneliti menyarankan agar teknik slow stroke back massage dapat diterapkan dalam implentasi asuhan keperawatan pada pasien hipertensi. Kata Kunci: Tekanan Darah, Hipertensi, Slow Stroke Back Massage
