This research was intended to generate ideal personality inventory of high school students with Dayak Ngaju cultural background. The subjects of this study were students SMA Negeri 1 dan 2 Palangkaraya for about 60 students, the subject collecting using purposive sampling technique. A research design that used in the research development of ideal personality inventory of Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services were mixed methods design. The validity of ideal personality inventory of Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services were obtained from experts judgments and Item-Test Correlation using Product Moment Pearson correlation analysis while the reliability was obtained by counting the Alpha coefficient through the Cronbach's Alpha reliability analysis. The result of this research was to generate ideal personality inventory of Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services which consisting of 42 items statement that is 25 items favorable and 17 items unfavorable after taking experts judgments, small clusters and large clusters test. Drawing conclusions of the study after taking 2 times test generated 42 valid items with the coefficients reliability of 0,778 so the level of validity and reliability considered high. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan penelitian inventarisasi kepribadian ideal budaya Dayak Ngaju dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling adalah mixed methods design. Validitas inventori kepribadian ideal budaya Dayak Ngaju dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling diperoleh dari penilaian ahli dan Korelasi Item-Test dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson sedangkan reliabilitas diperoleh dengan menghitung koefisien Alpha melalui analisis reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan inventarisasi kepribadian ideal budaya Dayak Ngaju dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang terdiri dari 42 item pernyataan yaitu 25 item yang baik dan 17 item kurang baik, setelah mendapat penilaian ahli, kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Kesimpulan penelitian setelah dilakukan 2 kali perbaikan menghasilkan 42 item valid dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,778 sehingga tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas dianggap tinggi.
Abstract. Nowadays, student's life was very close to the risky behaviors that can lead to mental health disorders such as smoking, alcohol consumption, drug addiction and premarital sex. Risky behaviors that can interfere students should be prevented so that they could avoid negative things in their life. This study will attempt to show the contribution of group guidance services in providing risky behavior prevention program on the students. This research was used Ex Post Facto Research combined with correlational research and involved the subject of 65 students. The results of the study showed that group guidance services showed contribution in prevent risky behavior to their students by 35% to conclude that group guidance services can used as prevention strategy for risky behavior and give positive sentiment for students about the negative impact of risky behavior. The implication of this research is giving an overview of the importance of guidance and counseling service as the prevention step and as for students to be aware and integrate and avoiding risky behaviors for the sake of their better future.
Understanding of students' attitudes in responding, taking initiative and responsibility is needed by the guidance and counseling teacher so that they can optimally develop themselves. This research aims to produce proactivity inventory for senior high school students. The research subjects were senior high school students in Samarinda. The research design used was mixed method design. Inventory validity was conducted through the stage of expert assessment and item-test correlation using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis, while reliability was obtained by calculating Alpha coefficient through Cronbach's alpha reliability analysis. The results of research generated 48 inventory items that were used to measure proactivity consisting of aspects of choosing response, ability to take initiative and take responsibility. The research conclusion generated proactivity inventory consisting of 48 items including positive and negative statements. Research implications can help the implementation of guidance and counseling services in senior high school.
<p><em>Academic quality improvement, self-development, and lecture completion can be realized if the students have academic awareness and are able to overcome various self-obstacles. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral group counseling in increasing student academic awareness. The research type was the pre-experimental design of one group pre-test and post-test. The research sample was nine students under the guidance and counseling study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mulawarman University. The analysis technique used was a descriptive analysis of percentages and the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the student academic awareness increased based on the results of the pre-test and post-test as well as cognitive-behavioral group counseling was effective in increasing academic awareness after an effectiveness test was conducted.</em></p>
This research was a research and development to produce a product and test its effectiveness as one of the tool used for researches in education (educational research). To identify the story-telling activity using the puppetry stage as the medium of tooth-brushing life skill for preschoolers done by the teacher. The model implementation in this research was done in 2 Preschools. The first one was for 5 preschool teachers and 26 preschoolers of Al Haqqul Yaqin Preschool. Then, it went on to Melati Plus Preschool with 6 preschool teachers and 25 preschoolers. The conducted research program had achieved its desired target where every puppetry stage could be utilized along by the preschool teachers communicatively with their students. The teachers became more creative in expressing their ideas to create story themes and stage decorations as the supplementary points for the message of the story told. The students looked more enthusiastic as well when they were following the story and could understand the message of the story faster. They were able to participate therefore it was visible that they have the comprehension upon the story told by the teacher before.
