Purpose-It is a general belief that using the right strategy for supplier selection and management will ensure the right suppliers who will adequately support the manufacturer to be flexible enough to meet customers' needs are engaged. Yet, there is little empirical evidence to support this view, especially in Malaysia. This paper attempts to fill this need by examining the impact of supplier selection and management strategies on manufacturing flexibility (such as product flexibility, launch flexibility, and volume flexibility). Design/methodology/approach-The population for this study consists of manufacturing firms in the semiconductor industry in Malaysia listed in the Penang Development Corporation's directory. Questionnaire was used and each of the 120 companies listed in the sampling frame was sent a copy, out of which 100 copies were collected back. However, only 92 copies were usable. Data were analysed using the multiple regression model. Findings-It was found that the selection of supplier based on technology is important for the manufacturer whose focus is on product and launch flexibility. However, quality becomes strategically important when the manufacturer is focusing on volume flexibility. Inventory management and technology roadmap are very important supplier management strategies with robust influence on all three forms of manufacturing flexibilities, namely product flexibility, launch flexibility, and volume flexibility. In sum, the manufacturer needs to understand clearly which flexibility of its operation is required, and then adopt a working supplier selection and management strategy. Originality/value-This research is new and beneficial to manufacturers and suppliers in the semiconductor sector.

Enterprise Resource Planning also called ERP is a system that is integrated into business processes in a company, some of the benefits of implementing ERP are higher productivity, better insights, accelerated reporting, lower risk, simpler IT and improved agility. However, ERP also has several disadvantages such as high costs, maintenance costs and this became a common problem when using the ERP system. One way to cut high costs is to use cloud computing. Cloud computing is pools of configurable computer system resources and higher-level services that can be rapidly provisioned management effort, often over the internet, cloud computing also can be the solution for companies that want to implement ERP system with low prices. In this paper, we collect several journals about cloud computing and ERP system and combine that into one literature, and this paper discusses methodology, metadata analysis and future journals related to cloud computing and ERP system

Purpose - The Community Project’s major goal is to increase awareness of the importance of agriculture-based entrepreneurship (Agro-entrepreneurship). The initiative also aims to foster entrepreneurship among local Sabahan, especially in digital marketing technology. Methods – Conducting workshops and training sessions on agro-entrepreneurship to help educate existing and potential entrepreneurs on the best practices, techniques, and skills required to establish and run successful agro-businesses. Simultaneously, show them how to advertise their products online. This programme comprises two stages of implementation, each with 30 participants and four facilitators. Result and discussions – Agro-entrepreneurs should learn and use strategies for digital marketing by receiving training. Agro-entrepreneurs could reach more clients by using digital marketing methods including social media, email, and content marketing. Agro-entrepreneurs could build and maintain their businesses by using digital marketing. Conclusion – In principle, the awareness programme would have assisted agro-entrepreneurs in improving their knowledge of digital marketing as well as their digital marketing abilities, which would have enabled them to expand their businesses and keep them going over the long term.
