School is an essential thing for education quality. This time, the South Tangerang government is implementing a new student admission process using a zoning system; all prospective students must choose a school that has the shortest distance from their residence. However, many parents and prospective students do not understand this zoning system. The limited access to information is a problem for them, so they do not know where the schools are included in their zoning area. For this reason, the need to efforts the problem-solve to use Dijkstra's algorithm as a consideration to find the results more accurate for the shortest distance. So the exact solution that should implement the information technology this time is "Implementation of Dijkstra's Algorithm to Find a School Shortest Distance Based on The Zoning System In South Tangerang." It is a solution for parents and prospective students to get information about school choices included in their zoning.
Praktek kerja industri atau Prakerin bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah syarat wajib kelulusan . Para siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan judul laporan, karena minimnya referensi dan kurangnya informasi dalam menemukan ide judul laporan baru dalam proses pengajuan laporan Prakerin. Banyak terjadi kesamaan ide judul yang diajukan oleh siswa dengan judul laporan yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Mengikuti perkembangan zaman saat ini aplikasi mobile sebagai media informasi dapat memudahkan siswa dalam menemukan referensi judul laporan Prakerin. Dan untuk proses pencarian judul laporan menggunakan algoritma brute force sebagai pendekatan langsung agar tidak terjadi kesamaan judul laporan yang diajukan dengan judul laporan yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Oleh karenanya implementasi algoritma brute force dalam pencarian judul laporan Prakerin siswa SMK berbasis aplikasi mobile merupakan pilihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa saat ini. Aplikasi ini dapat menjadi sumber referensi digital untuk siswa dalam menentukan judul laporan Prakerin yang akan dibuat. Untuk kebutuhan analisis data penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMK Pustek Serpong yang berada di Tangerang Selatan.Kata kunci; Algoritma Brute Force, Aplikasi Mobile, Judul Laporan, Prakerin, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
The language and automata theory are which required course must implemented by college student in informatic engineering study program. In this course, there are finite state automata (FSA) and deterministic finite automata (DFA) which are important materials in language and automata theory. This material requires more understanding of mathematical logic from students to determine an input which can be accepted or rejected in an abstract machine system. The assist students to understand the material, it is need to develop the learning media for mobile learning applications for language and automata theory on finite state automata (FSA) and deterministic finite automata (DFA) based on android as an evaluation of learning media for students. And the development of this learning media use the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) to design language and automata theory applications learning so can be support the learning process for students and then assist lecturer to explain the material more dynamic and applicative.
