Rumah Sakit memiliki peran penting dalam mewujudkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat secara optimal, untuk itu dituntut agar mampu mengelola secara professional dan bertanggung jawab, mengusung arus keutamaan tanggung jawab profesi pada aspek kesehatan, khususnya tenaga medis dan tenaga keperawatan dalam menjalankan tugas dan wewenangnya.  Health-Care Associated Infection (HAIs) penyebabnya terkait dengan proses dan sistem kesehatan. Aspek pertanggungjawaban hukum Rumah Sakit terhadap pasien yang terkena Health care-associated Infections (HAIs) menjadi fokus kajian, dengan pendekatan penelitian yuridis normatif, pada perspektif hukum sebagai kaidah tertulis yang tertuang dalam produk perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Rumah Sakit bertanggung jawab atas tindakan kelalaian tenaga kesehatan di Rumah Sakit, yang menyebabkan kerugian pada pasien, dibutuhkan adanya perlindungan hukum yang memadai sebagaimana tertuang dalam peraturan hukum secara normatif. Dalam hal perlindungan pasien, sebelum pelaksanaan pelayanan medis yang berkaitan dengan tindakan medis, tenaga kesehatan memberikan edukasi terhadap pasien terlebih dahulu, berupa penjelasan mengenai informasi, risiko yang terjadi, serta bentuk penanganannya. Apabila pasien merasa dirugikan dalam hal materiil maupun imateriil, pasien dapat mengajukan gugatan kepada Rumah Sakit yang melakukan kelalaian dan kesalahan, sebagai salah satu bentuk tanggung jawab hukum yang timbul.

Introduction: Quality patient centered care will improve the quality of nursing care and the patients independence, life quality, and self-efficacy. It also reduces the rate of disease recurrence, the length of stay (LOS), and the cost of care. Clinical supervision of academic model is a method to increase professionalism in the delivery of nursing care. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of clinical supervision academic model of head nurses on the quality of discharge planning. The study represented a pre-post test quasi-experimental design with a control group. The population was all nurses in Mitra Siaga hospital. The samples were 51 nurses selected by non-probability sampling. The statistical analysis used was one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the clinical supervision of academic model of the head nurses had a significant effect on improving the ability of nurse in applying patient centered care. Clinical supervision of academic model is a competence that nursing managers should have; therefore, it is suggested that head nurses provide guidance and supervision continuosly to maintain and improve the quality of patient centered care.

Latar belakang: Tugas Komite Medik adalah melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi mutu pelayanan medis melalui pembentukan sub komite-sub komite. Peran Komite Medik terhadap pelaksanaan patient safety di RSI. NU Demak belum terlaksana dengan baik. Keberadaan Komite Medik belum mempunyai peran yang berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan patient safety. Dari uraian di atas maka perlu dilakukan analisis peran Komite Medik dalam pelaksanaan patient safety aspek tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien di Rumah Sakit Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Demak.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Informan utama pada penelitian ini adalah sekretaris Komite Medik, dokter spesialis bedah serta dokter umum, dan Informan triangulasi yaitu direktur, ketua Komite Medik, dan Komite Mutu Keselamatan dan Kinerja. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode content analysis.  Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan Komite  Medik di RSI. NU  Demak masih belum berperan  secara  aktif  karena  implementor belum  memahami  sepenuhnya tentang  manajemen pelakasanaan tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien. Aspek komunikasi terkait sosialisasi sudah baik sedangkan aspek komunikasi dalam tim pelaksanan masih kurang. Jumlah sumber daya manusia dan sarana prasarana masih kurang. Aspek disposisi menunjukkan bahwa sikap petugas masih kurang dan masih ada yang belum memiliki komitmen tinggi. Aspek birokrasi masih kurang. Standar Prosedur Operasional khusus untuk melaksanakan tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien belum ada, hanya ada di tiap-tiap bagian yang dianggap menjadi dasar.Simpulan: Komite  Medik  di  RSI.  NU  Demak  ini  masih belum berperan secara aktif. Pada implementasi pelaksanaan manajemen tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien di RSI. NU Demak pelaksanaannya sama dengan pelaksanaan patient safetyKata kunci: Komite Medik, Patient Safety. Aspects of communication related to socialization was good while the communication aspects in the implementation team was lacked. The number of human resources and infrastructure was still lacking. The disposition aspect shows that officers' attitudes were still lacking and there were still those who did not yet have good commitment. Bureaucratic aspects were lacking. Standard Operating Procedures specific to implement the seven steps to patient safety had not existed, only in each section that was considered to be the basis.Conclusion: Medical Committee at RSI. The hospital as a health service institution for the community is a place of work that has a high risk of safety and health. The fulfillment of the right to Occupational Safety and Health for health workers is very necessary, because health workers are of course vulnerable to occupational safety and health hazards. Charitas Hospital as one of the COVID-19 referral hospitals in Palembang City has a very high potential danger of COVID-19 transmissionThis study aims to find out how the regulation of Charitas Hospital can guarantee the fulfillment of Occupational Health and Safety rights. The approach method used in this research is the sociological juridical method.Based on the Legislation which discusses Human Rights, Employment, and Health there are no regulations that overlap, redundant, or there is a void in the legislation governing the rights of Occupational Safety and Health of nurses in Isolation Rooms during a pandemic. In the event of a vacancy in laws and regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government may issue policy regulations (beleidsregel) such as Presidential Instructions, Circulars, Guidelines, Technical Standards, and Protocols and Charitas Hospital Palembang to make internal policies (SOPs, Instructions for Technical, Technical Standards) and adding Nursing Staff Bylaws related to handling arrangements during a pandemic so that the Hospital is ready if at any time a similar incident occurs.
