The aim of this study is to describe the perceptions of teacher candidates attending various programs of education faculties regarding the concept of "Pedagogical Formation", which directly makes the appointment and employment conditions even more difficult. In this study, the phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed. The study group of the research consists of 150 teacher candidates who study in various departments of the Faculty of Education in the 2021-2022 academic year and voluntarily supported the research. The data were analyzed using the content analysis method. The metaphors developed by the teacher candidates for the concept of pedagogical formation were classified into 9 different categories The first three of these categories are; pedagogical formation as an element dependent on effort and time (31.88%), pedagogical formation as a useless phenomenon that can be reached without effort (26.81%), pedagogical formation as direction and guide (13.77%). As a result, the teacher candidates likened the concept of pedagogical formation to a long marathon that requires effort, and they also stated that it is a lifelong process, as a richness that adds value to people, and as a mandatory need in the life of the individual. In addition, it was concluded that some of the participants hade a generally negative perception of the concept of pedagogical formation since they gave the right to teach to candidates who graduated from different undergraduate programs
The aim of this research is to demonstrate the perception of the direction concept of the prospective teachers in the departments of classroom education and social sciences education through metaphors. For this purpose, the research was conducted in 2018-2019 academic year with a total of 174 teacher candidates studying in social sciences teaching and elementary education departments of the faculty of education of a state university in Turkey. One of the approaches to qualitative research, the phenomenology (phenomenology) design, was used in the study. The views and thoughts of the working group on the concept examined "the concept of direction... like/is similar to because ..."collected by ınterview form consisting of his statement. Content analysis technique was used in the analysis of data. According to the findings of the study, participants developed a total of 81 valid metaphors for the concept of direction. These metaphors have been collected under 11 different categories. As a result of the study, the most preferred metaphors for the direction concept of the participants were the words Sun, Pole Star, Road, Compass, book and clock.

Sosyal mesafe, maske ve hijyen şeklinde özetlenen tedbirleri ortaya çıkarmış ve yeni yaşam koşullarını oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler eğitimi anabilim dalında öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının "sosyal mesafe" kavramına yönelik algılarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel yöntemlerden olgubilim deseni kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu Bayburt Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'nda 2019-2020 akademik yılında öğrenim gören 126 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Katılımcıların "sosyal mesafe" kavramına yönelik algıları yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla toplanmıştır. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Katılımcıların sosyal mesafe kavramına ilişkin toplam 81 geçerli metafor ürettikleri görülmüştür. Bu metaforlar 6 farklı kategori altında toplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda katılımcıların sosyal mesafe kavramının sözlük anlamları olumsuz olmasına rağmen genel olarak olumlu anlamda ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Sosyal mesafe kavramını daha çok koruyucu, umut ve tedavi edici olarak gördükleri belirlenmiştir. Yine katılımcıların sosyal mesafe kavramını sözlük anlamında olduğu gibi olumsuzluğu çağrıştıran umutsuzluğun ve çaresizliğin algısı olarak ifade ettikleri sonucuna varılmıştır.
