This study aims to measure the ratio of activity and student learning outcomes between learning santifik using mind mapping and articulation techniques on acid base titration material in Class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu. This research is a kind of quasi-experimental research. The samples in this study were the students of class XI IPA 2 as experimental class I given scientific learning treatment using mind mapping technique and XI IPA 4 as experimental class II which was given scientific study treatment using articulation technique. The data collection of student learning activeness using observation sheet while student learning result used pretes and postes. Data analysis used are mean value, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Data of learning result obtained from difference of pretes and postes that is in experiment class I is 50,31 and experiment class II is 58,44. While for the learning activity of the result of experiment class I of 65,63% and experiment class II of 83,33%. To measure the differences between the two techniques, the hypothesis test was done on the activity and the students 'learning result using the t-test of significant level (α = 0,05), the value of students' learning activity was tcount 2.67 and for ttabel 1.69, learning result tcount 1.90 and for ttabel 1.67. Based on result of hypothesis test show that there is difference of activity and result of student learning which signifikan between class applying mind mapping learning technique with class applying articulation learning technique. The results showed that the activity and learning outcomes of students with scientific learning using articulation technique is higher than scientific study using mind mapping technique.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
