The γ‐Al2O3 supported Ni2P catalysts for propane dehydrogenation were prepared by one‐pot method and evaluated to study the platinum‐like behaviour of Ni2P. The catalysts were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy‐dispersive X‐ray Spectrometer (EDS), N2 adsorption at −196 oC and temperature‐programmed desorption of ammonia (NH3‐TPD). Results show that Ni2P is beneficial to the catalytic stability. It exhibits higher conversion for PDH of 23.8% and propylene selectivity of 74.4%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
