, after consultation with the Home Secretary, the Chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority and the Mayor of London, you invited an Oversight Panel to review the investigation and prosecution arising from the murder of Damilola Taylor and to advise you and the Metropolitan Police Authority of lessons that may be learned by the police and the Criminal Justice System in future cases of a similar nature and to provide a link to the CPS review established by the Attorney General. This Report sets out our unanimous advice based upon all the material and interviews made available to us during the process of the Review.
