Objetivo: investigar el efecto analgésico de la decocción de las flores de Brugmansia arborea “floripondio” en ratones de laboratorio.Metodología: para determinar la actividad analgésica se emplearon 9 ratones albinos (machos) de la cepa NIH de 5 semanas de edad con un peso corporal entre 21 - 24.5 g|, todos procedentes del Laboratorio de Experimentación Animal del Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo en Salud de la Universidad de El Salvador. Para la preparación de la decocción se colocaron 5 g del material vegetal fresco (flores) en 50 ml de agua hasta su ebullición. Luego se administró por vía oral la decocción de las flores de Brugmansia arborea a una concentración de 0.1g/mL. Los ratones fueron divididos en tres grupos, un grupo control negativo (agua destilada), un grupo control positivo (Ibuprofeno 200 mg/kg) y el grupo tratamiento (decocción de las flores de floripondio). Una hora después de administradas las sustancias se inyectó ácido acético al 1 % por vía intraperitoneal. Después de cinco minutos, se contó el número de contorsiones abdominales a cada animal. Resultados: los grupos administrados con Ibuprofeno y el tratamiento obtuvieron una media de 11.33 y 15.67 respectivamente, disminuyendo considerablemente el número de contorsiones abdominales en comparación al grupo tratado con agua destilada, el cual obtuvo una media de 34.67. Conclusiones: la decocción de las flores de Brugmansia arborea en la prueba de ácido acético mostró que tiene un potencial efecto analgésico en ratones de laboratorio.
This paper describes the CaTi 1−x Mn x O 3 (x = 0.0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0) system synthesis using the solid-state reaction (SSR) method. The structural, morphological, and magnetic properties of Mn ion were evaluated in the CaTiO 3 system through X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), scanning electron microscopy + electron-dispersive spectroscopy (SEM + EDS), and vibrating sample magnetometry. Rietveld analysis of the XRDs at room temperature evidenced that the samples crystallized in the Pnma (62) space group. Likewise, the XRDs showed that lattice parameters decreased when increasing Mn content. The SEM + EDS results exhibited typical features of samples obtained by SSR at high temperatures. The zero-field cooling and field cooling curves of magnetization in temperatures ranging from 50 to 300 K showed paramagnetic behavior in the applied field for each Mn-doped sample with a possible weak ferromagnetic-like ordering. Conversely, the CaMnO 3 sample exhibited antiferromagnetic ordering with T N near 113.26 K.

GOP applications are widely worked in foreign language learning, however, the background around the medical trends shows the usage extensibility in speech disorders diagnosis and therapy. This review is an initial part of our future project where the GOP algorithm will be evaluated by its implementation in embedded hardware systems like artificial intelligence Single Board Computers (AI-SBC) based on a Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) or a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Furthermore, a new proposal to integrate GOP score machine with evolutionary algorithms, for example, Learning Classifier System approach (LCS), will be designed in an ubiquitous model for phonoaudiology usage in children speech impairments detection.</p>
