Xenakis’ music can be related to an ancient cultural background composed of Thracian, Byzantine and oriental elements, shared by Greece, Romania and other South-East European countries. A central element of this background is mythical thinking as defined by Mircea Eliade: a forma mentis involving a particular relation to the sacred, the coexistence of the archaic and the modern, and the attachment to archetypes. Mythical thinking accounts for the affinities existing between Xenakis and Romanian composers like Niculescu, Olahand Rădulescu, which concern specific aspects such as heterophony, modalism and spectralism. However, Xenakis’ Romanian roots are unassumed and unspoken as they belong to the unconscious and the repressed. They nevertheless occasionally emerge precisely as manifestations of a return of the repressed.
Taking into account that time goes by very quickly and the efficiency of an activity depends on how time is used, the purpose of this study is to highlight the formation of students’ ability to properly organize their time through activities related to the design and conduct of teaching practice lessons. The current study is based on the responses given by 181 male and female students aged 21-30 years who were engaged in the organization and conduct of lessons within the professional training practice in school units under the guidance of coordinating teachers. Study participants completed, at the end of the teaching practice that took place between 1.10.2020 and 30.01.2021, a questionnaire where they presented information about how they had organized their time in conducting lessons. The research students attend professional training programs for physical education teachers, physiotherapy, and sports performance carried out in three university centers (“Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest, and University of Pitești). The questionnaire included 20 closed-ended questions. The conclusions highlight that during the teaching practice, due to the responsibilities derived from achieving the themes and operational objectives of the lessons, students have become aware of both the passage of time and the importance of making good use of it, which was accompanied by the formation of their time management skills.
The purpose of this study was to identify several weight loss diets used by overweight and obese persons to lose weight and to develop a weekly nutritional program to help reducing body weight in order to improve, mainly, their health. The method used in the research was specialty literature review. The conclusions of the research are the following : the most effective way to lose weight is reducing the number of calories ingested simultaneously with increasing the number of calories consumed through physical activity; severe diets containing less than 800 calories per day should be avoided as the consequences can be serious health problems; the three main meals of the day should be respected; breakfast should not be skipped; the shorter the time taken to lose weight, the harder it will be to maintain the new body weight. Lasting success in reducing body weight is ensured by a calorie-balanced diet combined with systematic exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, aerobics, kangoo jumps, zumba, etc.
This work presents a game dedicated to children from the primary cycle through which they will acquire the elementary knowledge of chess. The game can be conducted with two teams, each team consisting of one to eight children. The basic principle is that of performing the specific movements of each chess piece through a cube, used as a dice. Each child will throw the cube on the surface of the game marked on the ground in the form of a chess table and will perform the specific movement of the chess piece drawn on the top of the cube. The player who will first reach the end of the route will be declared winner and will receive a number of points equal to the number of players. The game proposed by us to learn chess, blends very well learning the correct removal of chess pieces with carrying out motor activities.
