The kinetics of phosphine substitution in CpRu(PPh3)2X (X = Cl, Br, I, N3, and NCO) is consistent with a dissociative mechanism. The complexes react with chloroform to yield CpRu(PPh3)2Cl by a mechanism that involves phosphine loss.
The kinetics of dehydroxylation of crocidolite have been studied in Z)CICUO. The kinetic data may be interpreted in terms of a diffusion-controlled reaction based on radial diffusion out of a cylinder. The activation energy for the process is 49 kcal/mole.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
