This study was performed to investigate the dietary intakes, acculturative stress and cultural adaptation of marriage migrant women according to the dietary life adaptation. The subjects were divided into two groups: adaptation group (≥21 scores) or nonadaptation group (<21 scores) according to their dietary life adaptation scores. Total score of mini dietary assessment in the adaptation group was significantly higher than that in nonadaptation group. There were significant differences in intakes of protein, lipid, calcium, phosphorus, niacin and cholesterol between the two groups. In all subjects, intakes of calcium, vitamin C, folic acid and zinc were below estimated average requirements intakes. Dietary life adaptation scores were correlated with general characteristics (age, residence year, alcohol drinking and Korean nationality), Total score of mini dietary assessment, NAR (protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron and niacin), MAR, cultural adaptation (assimilation and integration) and acculturative stress (culture shock). In conclusion, it might be the better dietary life adaptation, the higher diet quality and cultural adaptation and the lower stress.
