PurposeThis article aims to understand how social enterprises adopt crowdfunding in digital humanities by investigating the mission drifting, risk sharing and human resource practices.Design/methodology/approachThis exploratory study uses a qualitative method by observing five different social ventures in Indonesia. The case study involves observation of social enterprises that concern digital humanities projects and interviews with those who manage the crowdfunding for financing the projects as the key respondents. The analysis uses an interpretative approach by involving the respondents to explain the phenomena.Findings(1) Adopting the crowdfunding platform encourages social enterprises to reshape social missions with more responsive action for digital humanities. (2) Crowdfunding allows social enterprises to share the risk with stakeholders who focus on fostering the social impact of digital humanities. (3) Crowdfunding stimulates social enterprises to hire professional workers with flexible work arrangements to attract specific donors and investors.Originality/valueThe result extends the principles of social enterprises by introducing some concepts of crowdfunding in digital humanities. This study also explains the boundary conditions of digital humanities projects and how crowdfunding can support the projects by adopting the principles of the social enterprise that works on digital humanities projects.
Essentially, the bank is financial institution which has the function to raise funds from thecommunity in the form of deposits, and the channel it back to the community in the form of creditor other. Credits is the main activities performed by Bank Perkreditan Rakyat, because it will bemakes a profit. However, the presenting credits will also provide a lot of risks that must bereceived or experienced by the BPR, because the risks that will be received or experienced aresourced to credit. Therefore, this researh is purpose to analys the effect of DPK, NPL, and ROA,on parcial althought simultan in contribute BPR credits. This researh conducted is quantitativeapproach use data panel regression method, and the data obtained are secondary data.According to the results of regression, the variables DPK and ROA have a significant influenceon credit distribution. While, the NPL variable doesn’t have a significant influence on creditdistribution.
Sektor keuangan merupakan salah satu sektor yang selalu dibayangi dengan berbagai potensi risiko. Risiko-risiko tersebut perlu diantisipasi oleh perbankan. Gagalnya mengelola risiko akan mempengaruhi kondisi keuangan bank salah satunya akan menimbulkan potensi financial distress. Oleh karena itu diperlukan kemampuan bank umum konvensional untuk memprediksi potensi financial distress. Semakin bank tidak dapat memprediksi potensi financial distress maka akan menimbulkan kebangkrutan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model Zmijewski (X-Score) dalam rangka memprediksi financial distress pada bank umum konvensional. Objek penelitian adalah 13 bank umum konvensional yang mendapatkan skor penilaian tertinggi dari Forbes. Forbes merilis The World’s Best Banks tahun 2022 dengan menetapkan bank terbaik di Indonesia. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah mengambil nilai cut-off yang tersaji pada model Zmijewski (X-score). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis data sekunder yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan tahunan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dari 2018-2021. Hasil menunjukkan pada model Zmijewski, berdasarkan nilai X-score rata-rata terdapat 3 bank umum konvensional yang terdeteksi memiliki potensi mengalami financial distress. Tiga bank umum konvensional tersebut adalah Bank Jago, Bank Neo Commerce dan May Bank. Potensi financial distress tersebut tercermin pada hasil rasio profitabilitas (return to asset) yang selama periode pengamatan ada kecenderungan mengalami penurunan terutama pada Bank Jago dengan tingkat rasio profitabilitas selalu merugi.
This research is a quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship and technological innovation on the competitive advantage of food MSMEs in Cibinong Subdistrict. The population used for this research is the businessmen MSMEs food entreprises at Cibinong Subdistrict. The number of sample which is taken was 50 respondents. The sampling technique for this research is purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square with 5% significance. The results of the testing are obtained (1) there is a significant effect of entrepreneurship on competitive advantage, (2) there is a significant influence of technological innovation on competitive advantage
