Permasalahan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia dewasa ini semakin memprihatinkan. Tindakan bullying, perkelahian antar pelajar, tindakan asusila, bahkan sikap siswa terhadap guru seakan tiada batasan dalam melakukan tindakan-tindakan yang tidak sopan dan santun. Oleh sebab itu, dalam artikel ini dijelaskan keterkaitan antara pendidikan karakter dan pendidikan bahasa Indonesia. Pendidikan karakter merupakan solusi penting untuk mengatasi kemerosotan moral di kalangan generasi muda, khususnya peserta didik. Pendidikan bahasa Indonesia menjadi salah satu media untuk membentuk dan menguatkan karakter peserta didik karena beberapa nilai karakter terkandung dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran bahasa Indonesia dalam pembangunan karakter; dan bagaimana bentuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Indonesia menjadi salah satu media untuk membentuk dan menguatkan karakter peserta didik karena beberapa nilai karakter terkandung dalamnya dan bentuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis karakter dapat dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan melalui beberapa dimensi karakter, yakni: kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, toleransi, kasih sayang, sopan santun, kejujuran, saling menghormati, kesetiakawanan, keteladanan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pentingnya peranan bahasa Indonesia dapat terlihat dari bunyi ikrar sumpah pemuda ketiga. Bunyi ikrar tersebut membuktikan bahwa pengakuan menjunjung tinggi bahasa persatuan, bahasa Indonesia, yang memiliki fungsi yang luar biasa dalam mengembangkan kepribadian dan karakter bangsa. Selain itu, pembentukan dan penguatan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan melalui beberapa dimensi karakter.
The background of this research is based on the stagnant sales data of Abraham and Smith. This study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix on consumer buying decisions in Abraham and Smith. This research is a quantitative research, using statistical-descriptive and verificative methods of analysis, which describe and define the influence of the independent variable (X), namely the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, location, people, physical evidence, and process) on the dependent variable (Y), namely consumer buying decisions. This study employs the multiple linear regression analysis. Respondents of this study were 111 Abraham and Smith consumers, selected through accidental sampling technique. The results of this study show that the marketing mix, which has a significant effect on Abraham and Smith's consumer purchasing decisions, are product, place, and physical evidence. The conclusion of this research is that the variables of product, place, and physical evidence have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. For further research, it is recommended to dig deeper into product variables, place, and physical evidence.
Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) menuntut pemelajar untuk dapat menggunakan empat keterampilan berbahasa (membaca, berbicara, menulis, mendengarkan) dengan cepat. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini berbasis konsep hipermedia dalam pembelajaran BIPA jarak jauh bagi BIPA anak di KBRI Kopenhagen, Denmark. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data-data berupa hasil observasi terhadap pemelajar BIPA anak. Selain menjadi sarana pembelajaran jarak jauh, hipermedia mempermudah penyampaian materi dan informasi yang akan diberikan. Keefektifan pembelajaran BIPA jarak jauh menggunakan berbasis konsep hipermedia ini dapat dikatakan berhasil diterapkan pada BIPA anak. Konsep hipermedia dalam pembelajaran BIPA dapat diterapkan kepada pemelajar di kelas daring guna mengakomodasi semua kebutuhan pemelajar. Penggunaan hipermedia menjadi satu di antara cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pembelajaran e-learning dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan konsep hipermedia sehingga pembelajaran jarak jauh menjadi fleksibel.
Culinary business is a sector that affects the growth of the tourism industry. As time goes by, the culinary business is growing fast, including in the city of Purwokerto where the intense competition between culinary business entrepreneurs is occurring. Praketa Coffee Shop Purwokerto must be able to develop and innovate to define the right marketing strategy. One of them is by using social media marketing to build consumer’s brand awareness, so that the purchase decision process will be built by itself. This research aims to discover the impact of social media marketing on the purchase decisions with brand awareness as an intervening variable at Ptraketa Coffee Shop Purwokerto. The type of research used is quantitative research with associative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this research is primary data, with method of distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents of Praketa Coffee Shop Purwokerto. The data analysis technique used Path Analysis regression and the Sobel Test. The results show that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness and on purchasing decisions, and brand awareness mediates positively and significantly on the relationship of between social media marketing and purchasing decisions.
This research aims to develop writing skills using YouTube media. YouTube is one of the right sources in finding data and information related to writing, especially writing exposition essays. The subject of this study is a third-year student majoring in Indonesian at the Moscow State University, Russia in 2017. The method of writing this article uses qualitative descriptive methods. The research begins with the process of listening to Indonesian videos with the theme of innovation from YouTube. After that, researchers together with the instructor conducted a question and answer process with students about the video they watched. The essay assessment process is taken from the accuracy of the exposition text structure, the Indonesian standard vocabulary, and the suitability of the content with the specified theme. Results showed that average students were able to apply the word standard according to the context of the sentence, the content with the theme were applied well on average, and were able to apply the exposition text structure well. As a recommendation, this level 3 student needs to be given many rewriting exercises so that the mistakes that occur in writing skills can be reduced.
