Mini combine harvester is a modern machine used for cutting rice, threshing and cleaning grain while walking in the field. This machine helps farmers where, time and energy to harvest more efficiently and does not require a large amount of labor like traditional (manual) harvesting. This study aimed to calculate and determine the working capacity of the mini combine harvester machine and calculated the work efficiency of the mini combine harvester machine. The method used in this research was experimental using a mini combine harvester type Yanmar model YH150 with Ciherang 32 rice varieties ready to harvest. The results of this study indicated that the effective field capacity is 0.125 ha/hour or 8.028 hour/ha, while the theoretical field capacity was 0.234 ha/hour so that the field efficiency is 53.23%. Pemanenan singkong masih banyak dilakukan secara manual dengan menarik atau mencabut batang ubi kayu yang sudah siap panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya gaya yang diperlukan untuk mencabut batang ubi kayu. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan petani di Desa Bandar Agung, Kecamatan Bandar Sakti, Lampung Tengah. Sampel ubi kayu sebanyak 50 pohon dipilih untuk mewakili bagian tengah dan empat pinggir pada tanah seluas 1-ha berukuran 50-m x 200-m. Pengukuran gaya pencabutan ubi kayu dilakukan menggunakan kerekan yang ditopang rangka kaki tiga dari pipa besi dan dilengkapi dengan timbangan ayam 100 kg dan tali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi gaya pencabutan batang ubi kayu, kadar air tanah, kekerasan tanah, lingkar batang, tinggi tanaman, berat umbi singkong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya pencabutan ubi kayu berkisar dari 20 kg (196 N) hingga 70 kg (686 N) dengan rata-rata 44,9 kg (440,2 N). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa gaya pencabutan ubi kayu turun dengan naiknya kadar air tanah. Faktor tinggi tanaman, lingkar batang, dan bobot umbi juga berpengaruh positif terhadap gaya pencabutan ubi kayu.
Indonesia was currently facing multiple nutritional problems. One of the nutritional problems was caused by a lack of consumption of vegetables. The Vegetables Go to School (VGtS) activity was a solution to promote a balanced nutrition menu, nutrition education and family nutrition development. The purpose of this study was to determine the modeling of healthy schools through vegetables go to school activities. The method used descriptive by interpreting the results of the VGtS activity. Data were collected from 10 Elementary Schools (SD) in Batang Regency, Central Java Province that received the VGtS activity, where 15 respondents were taken from each school to see changes before and after the intervention activities for 6 months. The results of this study showed a change in the participation rate for growing vegetables from 43.2% an increase to 91.3%. In addition, households (RT) in the intervention of this activity decreased their dislike of eating vegetables from 17.3% in the early stages to 10.0% after the intervention, while sick family members also decreased from 25.3% to 12%. Changes in the condition of the beneficiaries after the intervention showed an increase in health by consuming vegetables.
The accuracy and speed of preparation of raw materials was one of the keys to the success of a food processing business during the Pandemic and digital era. Mini multipurpose grating machine that was effective, efficient and hygienic was a tool for processed food production needed by micro and small scale businesses to win the competition in the era of on-line business. The purpose of this research was to design a mini multipurpose grating machine that can be used by micro and small scale processed food producers with a compact and simple design, made of food grade stainless steel material, and easy to maintain. This design produced a mini multipurpose grating with specifications of 1,550 mm in length, 900 mm in width, 2,100 mm in height and ±3 kg in weight. The small main drive motor was the advantage of the machine so that it is light and compact which can be placed under the grater cylinder. The results of the performance test showed that the working capacity of grating for coconut was 2.56 kg/h with an efficiency of 95.54%. The mini multipurpose grater machine was easy to carry and can be used for coconut, cassava, sweet potato, carrot, ginger and other similar commodities, which were used as raw materials for processed food on a micro and small scale.
