The high rate of unemployment caused by the imbalance between population density and limited employment opportunity is a serious problem faced by developing countries like Indonesia. Currently, university graduates are dominating the highest unemployment rates in Indonesia. One of the alternative solutions to reduce unemployment rate is developing entrepreneurship, which may also increase competitiveness in the globalization era that impacts on the country's economic progress. This study was designed to investigate the influence of internal locus of control on entrepreneurial intentions mediated by self-efficacy. This research was conducted by using a quantitative approach with ex-post facto design. A total of 66 students were chosen incidentally from various faculties at University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The results showed that self-efficacy significantly and positively mediates the internal locus of control of entrepreneurial intentions with the perfect mediation model.
A phobia from the perspective of psychoanalysis is a traumatic experience of the past which is repressed into the unconscious. Hypnotherapy is used to help someone easily, quickly, effectively, efficiently in reaching the subconscious mind, re-educating, reducing physiological and psychological symptoms caused by phobias and giving them more control in everyday situations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in reducing phobia symptoms. This research is aresearch pre-experimental using one-group pre-post test design. Participants numbered 20 people. The sampling technique used sampling incidental. The questionnaire in this study used the Fear Questionnaire (FQ). The results showed a characteristic age of 22 years, the majority of phobias were found in 80% women and 20% men. Based on the paired sample t-test results obtained data indicate that thevalue Asymp. Sig. 0,000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant change in the decrease in phobia symptoms by 51.87% after hypnotherapy. This study concluded that hypnotherapy was effective in reducing phobia symptoms with 2 therapy sessions in 4 meetings.
Cultural influence on entrepreneurship has been an ongoing scientific interest for more than three decades. Indonesia as a multi-cultural country needs to internalize local values in entrepreneurship. One of the internal factors of individuals associated with local values is the internal locus of control in influencing the entrepreneurial intentions possessed by the Javanese. This research examines the influence of culture in entrepreneurship that has not been explored much by psychology research in the field of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study tested the internal influence of locus of control on entrepreneurial intentions on Javanese. The research method uses a quantitative approach with ex-post facto design, the sample in the study as many as 66 respondents with incidental sampling techniques, instruments used internal locus of control and entrepreneurial intentions, data analysis used is linear regression analysis with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test showed the internal locus of control significantly affected the entrepreneurial intention with a value of p 0.117.
