<div align="center"><table width="645" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="439"><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The ICT advancement provokes the possibility of developing speaking skill through portfolio assessment which was commonly attributable mostly to writing skill. Hence, an exploratory study adopting ADDIE model was conducted to develop an electronic portfolio assessment integrated into teaching materials. A triangulated technique of data collection: questionnaire respondents, interviews and data from evaluation sheets was gathered. Statistical descriptive analysis, discourse and content analysis were conducted and positive possibilities were found to ffacilitate the development of speaking skills through electronic portfolio assessment.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>
Writing is one of the language skills that should be mastered by students of English as a foreign language (EFL). In order to write well, EFL students should understand the content of their writing. They should also be able to discover some writing errors they may have. Therefore, it is necessary for the students to practice writing frequently and to be willing to review their writing products. This study aimed to develop EFL students’ writing skill through self-assessment integrated with e-portfolio. It used action research design and it was conducted in a classroom consisting of 25 ten graders of Islamic Senior High School (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) at Sumenep, East Java. The findings showed that the students’ writing skill could be improved after the implementation of self-assessment integrated with e-portfolio. It is suggested that EFL teachers consider using self-assessment integrated with students’ e-portfolio to help improve EFL students’ writing skill.ABSTRAKMenulis merupakan kemampuan berbahasa yang harus dimiliki oleh pelajar bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing (EFL). Dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menulis, pelajar dituntut untuk mengerti isi tulisan mereka dan mampu menemukan kesalahan-kesalahan yang mungkin terdapat dalam tulisan mereka. Maka dari itu, pelajar dipandang perlu untuk sesering mungkin melatih kemampuan menulis, mengulas kembali dan merevisi karya mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menulis siswa menggunakan self-assessment melalui elektronik portofolio. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek 25 siswa kelas X MAN Sumenep, Jawa Timur. Penemuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa membaik setelah penerapan self-assessment melalui elektorinik portofolio. Dengan demikian, guru bahasa Inggris disarankan untuk mempertimbangkan penerapan sefl-assessment melalui elektronik portfolio siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menulis siswa. Pesantren as a social-religious-institution has played a significant role in the dynamic of Indonesia nation. The role of the pesantren is not only concerned with educational and social-religious aspects but also broader, namely social transformation. In developing pluralism awareness in multicultural era, the pesantren has the important role. At the pesantren, there are many values that could be applied to meet the challenge. The existence of the pesantren, nowadays, is closely related to social affairs. Thus, to optimize this role, it is necessary to make a serious, systematic and sustainable effort because not all of the pesantren has the urge to do it.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang (a) perubahan unsur-unsur cerpen, (b) karakter para tokoh dalam cerpen, dan (c) nilai-nilai humanis dalam cerpen sebagai alternatif bahan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi, yaitu diawali dengan mempelajari teori, lalu mengumpulkan cerpen-cer pen yang monu mental dari ma jalah Hori son, kemudian menganalisisnya, melakukan uji coba, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perkembangan unsur-unsur cerpen: ditemukan berbagai karakter dalam tokoh cerita serta ditemukan juga nilai-nilai luhur dalam cerpen yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Cerpen-cerpen tersebut dapat dijadikan bahan pembelajaran sastra yang menyenangkan bagi siswa dan berguna bagi kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat.Abstract:This study is aimed at obtaining the description of (a) the changes in the elements of short stories, (b) a picture of the characters in short story, and (c) a picture of humanist values in short story as an alternative learning materials of literary appreciation. This study uses content analysis to psychology literature approach. The stage of the research is conducted by studying the related theory, collecting short stories from the Horison magazine, and analyzing, conducting trials and error, and making conclusion. The results of research shows that there is the develop- ment of the elements of the short story: finding a variety of characters and great value in the story that can be applied to the teaching-learning process in the classroom as a fun learning materials for students of literature and useful for everyday social life.
The Tegal Regency Government under the leadership of Mrs. Umi Azizah created a program to be able to help overcome unemployment, especially among youth in Tegal Regency, by issuing a policy in the form of Regent Regulation Number 6 of 2019 concerning Facilitation of Entrepreneurship Growth and Development for Youth in Tegal Regency. This research is normative juridical research on issues relating to laws and other accompanying regulations regarding youth and entrepreneurship, this study aims to determine the implementation of the Tegal regent's regulation number 6 of 2019 concerning the facilitation of the growth and development of entrepreneurship. in this study using qualitative data analysis methods, namely normative juridical presented descriptively. Regent Regulation number 6 of 2019 made the main strategy, namely the commitment of Tegal Regency to improve the ranking of all indicators in youth and entrepreneurial policies in a better direction, structural improvements for all indicators, increasing independent entrepreneurs who can contribute to the community and the Tegal Regency Regional Government.Keywords: Implementation, Entrepreneurship, Economy of Tegal Regency.
