Sustainability illustrates something with the tendency to maintain one's existing quality. To guarantee the sustainability of the world, nature, stays in a good condition, the attitude of the people of earth is very related. To achieve the sustainability of the earth and nation, positive and active engagement from the smallest community unit, which is family, is very important. Ideally, families are the first teachers for children. The family or parents are their role models. They give the greatest impact for the growth of personality, attitude, value, characteristic and skills for the young generation. The family unit are the main source in understanding and giving understandings one's meaning and philosophy. Then, this concept paper will highlight the concept of sustainability in general and the sustainability concept from the Islamic perspective as well as the relationship between the family unit behaviour in guaranteeing a life where a family with harmony and sustainability could give an impact to the universal well-being.

People with disabilities (PWD) struggle with prejudices, narrow-mindedness, and maltreatment. This situation has brought many questions on how the public serves them. Concerning PWDs' employment, the source of income and the wellbeing of this community frequently be neglected and depreciated. The research issues a call to this agenda and suggests action to empower employment among PWD. Descriptive quantitative research was employed to 136 employers from various industries. This article reports three variables: readiness, commitment, and disposition of industrial players on hiring PWD. The results of the study describe that employers are more likely to hire PWD in their organization based on their readiness and commitment, however, the disposition was discouraging. The types of disabilities, industries and ethnicities of the PWD contribute to a major decision when hiring PWD. Employment of PWDs is afflicted by skeptical and dubious perspectives due to their capabilities and capacities to fulfill job responsibilities. With encouragement and empowerment of skilled development programs, PWD is supposed to be allowed to join the workforce, performing a job that suits their impairment. Ongoing support must be advocated among the grassroots of the nations that ultimately flourish the life of PWD.

The solution to the drunk driving behavior is urgently needed as the cases has shown a worrying increased in Malaysia. Solutions need to be implemented through all angles including the empowerment of law enforcement. A law is designed for the benefit of human beings to live a harmonious life. The law was drafted taking into account the priorities in preserving Dharuriyyat al-Khams, namely the five universal human interests in order, starting with Hifz Al-Din (religious care), Hifz Al-Nafs (life care), Hifz Al-Maal (property care), Hifz Al-'Aql (care of the mind) and Hifz Al-Nasal (care of the descendants). So, in the case of a drunk driver, it is very related to Hifz Al-Nafs, Al-'Aql and Al-Mal. Emphasis on law enforcement is among the forms of education and resolution. This concept paper utilizes literature review for data collection. The impact of this study explains the definition of Maqasid Syariah in general as well as the enforcement of the law in the case of drunk drivers.
