Research in the field of telecommunication is moving towards 6G. Upper mm Wave frequencies (100-300 GHz) are seen as a promising band for 6G. ITU recommendations on material characteristics are limited to 100 GHz. This study aims to further extend the currently existing knowledge on wavematerial interaction and make the link between below and above 100 GHz frequencies by providing reflection measurements from 2 to 170 GHz. The material reflection coefficients of seventeen different materials e.g. glass, wood, aerated concrete, and polystyrene are continuously reported along the measured band. The measurement setup is based on a vector network analyzer with millimeter wave extension modules connected starting from 50 GHz.
