Drought is one of the critical conditions for the growth and productivity of many crops including mung bean (Vigna radiata L. Wilczek). Screening of genotypes for variations is one of the suitable strategies for evaluating crop adaptability and global food security. In this context, the study investigated the physiological and biochemical responses of four drought tolerant (BARI Mung-8, BMX-08010-2, BMX-010015, BMX-08009-7), and four drought sensitive (BARI Mung-1, BARI Mung-3, BU Mung-4, BMX-05001) mung bean genotypes under wellwatered (WW) and water deficit (WD) conditions. The WW treatment maintained sufficient soil moisture (22% ± 0.5%, i.e., 30% deficit of available water) by regularly supplying water. Whereas, the WD treatment was maintained throughout the growing period, and water was applied when the wilting symptom appeared. The drought tolerant (DT) genotypes BARI Mung-8, BMX-08010-2, BMX-010015, BMX-08009-7 showed a high level of proline accumulation (2.52-5.99 mg g −1 FW), photosynthetic pigment (total chlorophyll 2.96-3.27 mg g −1 FW at flowering stage, and 1.62-2.38 mg g −1 FW at pod developing stage), plant water relation attributes including relative water content (RWC) (82%-84%), water retention capacity (WRC) (12-14) as well as lower water saturation deficit (WSD) (19%-23%), and water uptake capacity (WUC) (2.58-2.89) under WD condition, which provided consequently higher relative seed yield. These indicate that the tolerant genotypes gained better physio-
This study discusses what is, and what is not a valid and legal contract in Sharia, considering certain stipulated requirements for the acceptability of a contract. It then considers the legality of e-commerce, whether it complies with those stipulated requirements. Business under Islam primarily fulfils a collective religious obligation and fulfil an enlarged scope of responsibilities. In this context, the protection of the e-consumers, the status of an e-commerce transaction and responsible e-commerce are discussed to expose to those who are wondering whether e-commerce is admissible from the Sharia point of view. So that they could benefit from e-commerce if it is proved as an admitted fact in Islam. The final section concludes with a plea for good judgment toward corporate social responsibility practice and avoiding prohibited materials in e-commerce.
For Muslims, all worldly deeds are equal to worship if they are performed in the way given by Allah (SWT). Every aspect of human life is recorded in the Muslim’s Holy book Al-Quran. The Muslim way of eating or trading is determined and governed by Islamic law. Allah (SWT) has ordained for Muslims all the permissible and forbidden worldly matters. The main purpose of this article is to discuss the impact of corporate social responsibility with halal food and halal food business in Bangladesh. Halal food is one of the most important elements of daily life of Muslims. This article focuses on what kind of steps a halal food business needs to take to protect the religious beliefs and obligations of Muslims. So that the supply of Bangladeshi halal food in the international market and halal quality of international consumers can be ensured.
Abstract:The fabrication of the Co/ZnO multilayer thin film for studying the influence of thermal annealing on optical and electrical properties is presented in this paper. In this case, at first Co/ZnO multilayer films were prepared by e-beam evaporation in a vacuum at a pressure of 3.2×10 -5 torr. In the multilayer, the thickness of Co and ZnO was kept same. Each layer thickness was varied from 5 nm to 15 nm and repeated three times. The deposition rate of the Co and ZnO thin films are about 1.33 nm/s & 1.43 nm/s respectively. The optical and electrical properties of the deposited and annealed Co/ZnO films had been studied. The average transparency of Co/ZnO multilayer thin film is roughly about 55% and decreased with increasing film thickness and increased when annealed. The T. C. R. of deposited and annealed Co/ZnO multilayer thin films in all cases is negative which indicates that the thin films are semiconducting in nature.
