Media sosial telah menjadi perhatian bagi semua orang termasuk akademisi, terutama karena fleksibilitas nya sebagai alat komunikasi. Sejalan dengan itu, penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam menunjang kinerja dan popularitas institusi pendidikan tinggi. Kami menggunakan data jumlah postingan, viewer, follower, dan subscriber pada masing-masing media sosial yang dikelola oleh perguruan tinggi dan menganalisisnya menggunakan regresi untuk melihat hubungannya dengan kinerja dan popularitas pendidikan tinggi di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adopsi sosial tweeter dan YouTube berdampak pada kinerja pendidikan tinggi yaitu jumlah mahasiswa. Kami juga menemukan bahwa peningkatan jumlah visitor pada website resmi institusi pendidikan tinggi dipengaruhi oleh jumlah postingan, viewer, dan follower pada akun media sosial Facebook, Instagram, dan tweeter. Dilihat dari perspektif manajemen strategis, kami melihat adanya peluang bagi universitas untuk mengelola media sosialnya secara efektif. Hal tersebut Akan memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan popularitas di dunia maya dan kinerja institusi.
Ojhung culture is one of the local culture in Madura. Existence is motivated by people's desire for rain on drought in some parts of Madura. The Existence of “Ojhung” madura is currently imposing, where the attention of the younger generation and the government was minimal. It is feared will lead to the sinking of this culture in Madura. This research was conducted with the aim to formulate the right strategy for cultural preservation efforts Ojhung Madura, it is expected this will be a recommendation for the parties concerned for the preservation of the culture. To answer the problems that occur, we used qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The use of this method is carried out to reveal the cultural phenomenon Ojhung and preservation strategies. The strategy formulation process we involve stakeholders as informants such as Actors Ojhung match, chairman Ojhung community, local government, as well as cultural Madura. The results of the study resulted in recommendations for the strategy of cultural preservation efforts Ojhung Madura. The formulation of the strategy through a SWOT analysis shows that cultural preservation Ojhung Madura require their attention from the local government, the younger generation, as well as the local community. Improvements to the management (match) Ojhung culture also required include increased promotion, event format, as well as efforts to Ojhung performances scheduled on the agenda of local travel (Sumenep).
This study aimed to examine the effect of the Cash Conversion Cycle and Working Capital Turnover on Return on Assets At the Consumer Goods Industry Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used in this research is the quantitative approach. Results showed variable cash conversion cycle (CCC) and working capital turnover (WCT) simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability (Return on Total Assets). Variabel cash conversion cycle (CCC) partially not have a significant impact on profitability (Return on Total Assets) but variable working capital turnover (WCT) partially have a significant impact on profitability (Return on Total Assets) consumer goods industry issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2010-2014. Purpose: This paper explains the influence of social media as voluntary disclosure of intellectual capital in university performance.Design/methodology/approach: We conduct an analysis of all universities in Indonesia and observe social media accounts that are used, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube channels, and then correlate with university performance.Findings: The results show that social media can be used as a voluntary disclosure of intellectual capital. The popularity of a university in social media has a positive correlation with the performance of relational capital and institutional performance. We have not found the impact on the number of students. We also find a significant difference in the use of social media between public and private universities in Indonesia.Research limitations/implications: Data comes from one country. Therefore, it may be possible to analyze several countries with different social media platforms in the futurePractical implications: Viewed from a strategic management perspective, we see an opportunity for universities to manage social media that is used effectively. This will have an impact on increasing popularity in cyberspace and institutional performance. We recommend that universities have a special part in managing their social media content in order to be able to develop and manage digital communications effectively as a strategy to improve the performance of institutions.Social Implications: Social media plays an important role in improving the performance of an organization and informing stakeholders. Besides that, the existence of intangible assets also plays an important role in the existence of an organization.Originality/value: The paper specifically empirically examines the impact of using social media on public sector organizations (universities), we focus on the role of social media as voluntary disclosure from the performance of intellectual capital.
