Study on stability of a purseiner, which is based in Lampulo, has never been carried out till now. The objective of the research is to analized quality of stability of a purseiner which is based in Lampulo Fishing Port based on its real load distributions. Stability analysis was carried out on some load distributions variations, such as: 1) Condition 1; departure (100% fuel-0% load) ; 2) Con-dition 2, 3 and 4; arrival from fishing ground (fuel remain 20%, 25%, 20% and load of fish 100%, 70%, 50% ) and 3) Condition 5; arrival from fishing ground (55% fuel-100% load). Krylov method combines with trapezoidal approximation was used for analyzing. The results show that in all load conditions, this purseseiner show a good stability with the highest GZ maximum value in condition 4 (GZ max 0.63 m) and the lowest is in conditon 5 (GZ mas 0.52). Comparing to the IMO reco-mendation on stability, all load variations above are comply with the recomendations.
Rumpon portable merupakan suatu jenis alat bantu yang berfungsi untuk mengumpulkan ikan dengan frekuensi sebesar 11.000 – 15.000 Hz, dengan metode penggunaan suara pada atraktor yang ada pada rumpon portable sehingga ikan-ikan pelagis kecil berkumpul di sekitar rumpon portable. Ikan pelagis kecil memiliki kebiasaan hidup membentuk gerombolan dalam melangsungkan hidupnya, baik itu bermigrasi, mencari makan, bahkan memijah. Pancing ulur merupakan salah satu alat tangkap yang digunakan nelayan skala kecil untuk aktifitas penangkapan ikan pelagis kecil, oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian tentang produktivitas pancing ulur pada rumpon portable. Penelitian ini menggunakan data produksi dari alat tangkap pancing ulur, dengan jumlah pengambilan data selama 15 trip penangkapan pada bulan Agustus-September 2018 bertempat di perairan Aceh Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis dan jumlah ikan yang tertangkap disekitar rumpon portable dengan menggunakan alat tangkap pancing ulur di antaranya ada 8 jenis yaitu ikan selar tetengkek (Megalaspis cordyla), kue (Caranx ignobilis), kerapu (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus), selar (Selaroides leptolepis), cumi-cumi (Loligo indica), kuniran (Upeneus moluccensis), tenggiri (Scomberomorini), dan kembung (Rastrelliger) dengan total berat 24,25 kg. Rata-rata produktivitas penangkapan ikan dengan alat tangkap pancing ulur pada rumpon portable sebesar 1,61 kg/trip. Komposisi jenis ikan hasil tangkapan menunjukkan cumi-cumi dominan tertangkap dengan alat tangkap pancing ulur yang dioperasikan di sekitar rumpon portable.
Ergonomi kapal sangat mempengaruhi kenyamanan kerja anak buah kapal (ABK). Aspek ergonomi kapal khususnya kapal penangkap ikan masih sedikit yang meneliti, sehingga belum ada aturan baku mengenai kaidah-kaidah ergonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengayaan IPTEKS pada bidang keselamatan kerja di atas kapal penangkapan ikan, menganalisa aspek ergonomi pada aktivitas penangkapan ikan di kapal payang. Hal ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi pemangku kepentingan seperti pemilik kapal, kapten kapal dan ABK, serta pemerintah yang terkait. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung pada abyek penelitian dan di analisa menggunakan tabel Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Aktivitas di atas kapal payang dibagi menjadi beberapa kegiatan yaitu persiapan keluar dermaga, operasional penangkapan ikan meliputi setting dan hauling, pasca operasi penangkapan ikan dan istirahat. Analisis ergonomi kapal payang difokuskan kepada posisi tata letak barang dan nelayan di atas kapal. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan wawancara dengan ABK kapal payang tentang kenyamanan kerja di atas kapal sudah merasa nyaman. Hal ini dikarenakan sudah terbiasa dan tidak mempunyai pilihan lain.Kata kunci : ergonomis, JSA, kapal payang.
<p>ABSTRAK<br />The Indonesian government has already paid high attention to the quality assurance of fishery products. It can be seen from the legislation and policies that have been established. In a Ministry of Marine Affari Regulation (Kepmen KP 01/MEN/2007) clearly stated that the quality assurance requirements and food safety of fishery products, start from the production, processing and distribution. Meanwhile, fisherman understanding of the qualityof fish product is still low. This study was conducted to assess the implementation of Kepmen KP 01/MEN/2007 in the fishing industry. Analysis of the the implementation of the quality elements refers to “The Aplication of the guidelines of PMMT based on the conception HACCP” (Dirjen Perikanan Tangkap, 1999). The results showed that the implementation of quality management system according Kepmen KP 01/MEN/2007 on fishing vessels in Palabuhanratu fishing port wasstill dificult to implement. In small vessels, factors that wascause the difficulty of implementation wasthe limited space of fishing boat and knowledge of fisherman. While in the long line and trolling, structural requirements, the feasibility of the ship and regristation of ship has already implemented, but related to hygiene and handling of fish on board have not implemented properly.<br />Key words: fishing industry, implementation of quality management, Kepmen 01/MEN/2007, PPN<br />Palabuhanratu</p><p>-------</p><p><br />ABSTRAK<br />Keberpihakan pemerintah terhadap jaminan mutu pada produk hasil perikanan sudah cukup tinggi, terlihat dari peraturan perundang-undangan ataupun kebijakan-kebijakan yang telah ditetapkan. Pada Kepmen 01/MEN/2007 tersirat dengan jelas persyaratan jaminan mutu dan keamanan pangan produk-produk perikanan, mulai dari proses produksi, pengolahan dan distribusi. Sementara itu pemahaman mengenai mutu ikan di tingkat nelayan sebagai pelaku utama industri penangkapan ikan masih rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat sejauhmana implementasi dari Kepmen 01/MEN/2007 pada industri penangkap ikan.Analisis kesesuaian implementasi unsur-unsur manajemen mutudilakukan dengan mengacu pada ”Pedoman Penerapan PMMT Berdasarkan Konsepsi HACCP” (Dirjen Perikanan Tangkap 1999). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa penerapan atau implementasi manajemen mutu sesuai Kepmen No.01/Men/2007pada kapal penangkap ikan di PPN Palabuhanratu masih sulit untuk diimplementasikan. Pada kapal berukuran kecil, keterbatasan ruang dan keterbatasan pengetahuan ABK, menjadi faktor sulitnya implementasi, sPersyaratan struktur dan kelayakan kapal serta registrasi sudah diimplementasikan pada kapallongline dan pancing tonda, gistra.Namun terkait dengan higiene kapal dan penanganan masih belum diimplementasikan dengan baik.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: industri penangkapan</p>
Fishing with purse seine fishing gear has been carried out by many fishermen, which are generally aimed at catching pelagic fish. Jepara District is one of the coastal areas of the North Coast of Java, located in Central Java Province. This condition makes Jepara Regency have a marine-based economic side of life which has the potential of fish resources that have been used by local fishermen for a long time. The current condition has a tendency to decline in production, which is thought to be due to overfishing. This study aims to obtain an overview of the dominant fish caught by the purse seine and to see the productivity of the purse seine. The research method used is a survey method, by conducting interviews with 20 fishermen, the head of the Ujungbatu Fish Auction Place (TPI) and his staff. The data obtained are data on catch production, composition of types of catch and other data. The results are expected to be able to provide an overview of the dominant fish catch and productivity of purse siene in the waters of Jepara District. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that there are three types of fish that are dominant catch, namely layang fish, mackerel and squid. During the last five years (from 2015 - 2019), production tends to experience a significant decline. Meanwhile, the productivity has also decreased as well. Based on the calculation of the productivity level according to KEPMEN KP No.61/2014, the productivity level (2019) of purse seines that land their catch at TPI Ujungbatu Jepara is 4.45, meaning that the production produced in 2019 year is 4.45 tons per vessel 1 GT used.
