Adolescents are experiencing development and transition of childhood thought to adulthood. Within this period, religious preachers should instill the appropriate approach of da’wah to cater this group of individuals. To ensure that the medium of da’wah is suitable to the needs of the target group, it is essential to select the most appropriate psychological da’wah approach. Therefore, this study aims to identify and understand the approach of da’wah to adolescents, so that the purpose of preaching can be effectively implemented. This study also aims in identifying the basic da’wah approach as mentioned in the al-Quran. This is a qualitative study where analysis of related documents were carried out. The study shows there are four methods that can be used by the preachers in approaching group of adolescents. All the approaches are highly associated with the psychological elements of this group of individuals. Hence, this findings should be materialized and made known so that religious preachers will not generalized the da’wah approach to be implemented between adolescents and the aged group.
al-Tadlis was a hadith narrator person who spread the word of hadiths that were not told to him directly but used words that give the assumption that he was present when the hadiths were made. A narrator who commited an al-TadlÊs is known as an al-Mudallis, while the narrated hadith text itself is called as an al-Mudallas. It is one of the branches of weak hadiths. The purpose of this research is to study the definition of al-Tadlis coined by Imam MuÍammad ibn hibban. In fact, there exists a difference in understanding as well as perspectives on the definition of al-TadlÊs between al-MutaqaddimÊn and al-Muta’akhkhirin. Thus, this study will focus on the comparison made between the perspectives of both groups as well as the opinions formed by Imam Ibn hibbÉn. This study will be conducted via qualitative research and the findings will be used to form a document analysis. The research findings showed that the definition of al-TadlÊs made by Ibn ×ibbÉn is similar to al-Mutaqaddimin. However, they do not differentiate the definitions of Mursal al-KhafÊ and Tadlis al-IsnÉd since it is found that both Tadlis al-ShuyËkh and TadlÊs al-TaswiyÉh have no significant differences to be discussed. This field of study has highlighted the different understandings on the matter that exist among hadith scholars in comprehending the concept of Tadlis al-Isnad. Besides, the research aims to give an in-depth understanding on several conditions made by Ibn ×ibbÉn in his decision to include al-Mudallas hadiths in his book of verified hadiths.
