The researchers examined the extent of implementation of the effective classroom management components by teaching stuff of vocational education at Al- Huson University College, Al-Balq'a' Applied University, Jordan from the perspective of vocational education students’ (bachelor degree). To achieve the objectives of the study the researchers used a questionnaire which has the necessary components, it was prepared by the researchers in the light of studies and scientific literature related to the subjects of the study. The purpose of this study was to identify the opinions of vocational education students’ at Al- Huson University College, Al-Balq'a' Applied University. It also showed how effective classroom management components are applied by the teaching staff of Al Huson University College, and to determine the influence of some other factors like (gender ,academic year level, specialization , practical subject), on this evaluation. The sample of the study consisted of (152) students from all vocational education students at Al Huson University College that are registered in the first semester of the academic year 2010/2011. The questionnaire consists of ( 34 ) items used to collect the data which were analyzed by using SPSS program so as to compute the means , standard deviation and t- test. The study showed that the scale items got positive evaluation from all the students. And there are no statistically significant differences between students due to gender or academic year.
The study aims to expose the vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs of students at Al-Balqa' Applied University (BAU), and the study tool was implemented; after confirming the sincerity and stability of it, which consists of (60) articles, that represents the vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs for its sample of (291) BAU students for the second semester of the academic year (2016-2017). The study results showed that level of vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs of students at BAU is medium, where (28) articles of needs came at high level, while (32) came at medium level. It showed the existence of statistically significant difference at (α = 0.05) level between the arithmetic means of study sample members estimation on the articles of vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs scale, as a whole, due to the sex variable of female, and the existence of statistically significant difference at (α = 0.05) level between the arithmetic means of study sample members estimation on the articles of vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs scale, as a whole, due to the study phase variable of diploma compared with the bachelor degree, and it also showed the existence of statistically significant difference at (α = 0.05) level between the arithmetic means of study sample members estimation on the articles of vocational and psychological guiding and counseling needs scale, as a whole, due to the major variable of humanity and occupational compared with the science major.
This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a training programme for developing the vocational literacy of secondary vocational education teachers in Jordan. The population of the study consisted of all vocational education teachers in the secondary stage for governmental schools that belong to education directorates in Irbid governorate, The total number was (252) teachers. A random sample consisted of (39.5%) from the study population. To answer the questions of the study, the researcher prepared an achievement test composed of (64) multiple choice questions, distributed on (7) fields of vocational literacy. The validity of the study tools was verified and approved by a specialized committee in education and vocational education fields, the tools were also tested, and the reliability coefficient for the test was (0.79). For answering the study questions data were collected and analyzed by employing the (SPSS) system, means, standard deviation and T-test were widely employed for the purpose of this study. results of the study revolved that the study reached the following: That the majority of teachers scored at the middle level of the Vocational literacy as measured by the prepared test there were significant statistical differences in the mean degrees of Vocational Literacy for Secondary Vocational Education Teachers between pre and post experiment test, due to the effect of the suggested Training programme.(Number of word).
The study aimed to identify the practice degree of democratic behaviors of male and female principals at the public basic schools in their tasks performance at Bani Obeid district, from the standpoints of their teachers. A questionnaire prepared by Abu-Hayja' in (2005) was developed to achieve this goal, and it consist of (46) items in its final version. The study populations consist of all male and female teachers at the public basic schools in Bani Obeid district, and (560) of those were selected as the study sample, in order to reach the objectives. For data analysis, the arithmetic means and standard deviations of the responses were calculated about the practice degree of democratic behaviors by their teachers, where ANOVA and MANOVA were used, and then they were statistically processed using SPSS. The study results showed the existence of statistically significant differences at the significance level of (α=0.05) between the subjects estimates of the practice degree of democratic behaviors of basic schools principals in their tasks performance that could be attributed to the teacher's sex and years of experience variables. The results also showed a non-existence of statistically significant differences at level (α=0.05) between the arithmetic means related to the practice degree, as a whole that could be attributed to the variables of qualification, experience, and sex.
This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of training program to develop positive attitudes towards vocational education of secondary vocational education teachers in Jordan. The study population consisted of 100 teachers, who were distributed across all vocational schools of the educational directorates in Irbid governorate. In order to achieve the objective of the study; the researcher has prepared an attitude scale that consisted of 33 items, that were distributed over seven vocational education areas. The validity and consistency of the study tool were verified; whereas the reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.91. In order to answer the questions of the study, arithmetic means, standard deviations, and T-test were extracted. The study came with the following findings: majority of teachers scored at the middle level as to the degree of interest towards vocational education, and here were significant statistical differences in the average degrees of vocational education attitudes of secondary vocational education teachers between pre and post experiment test due to the effect of the suggested training program.
