A bored pile is one type of deep foundation made by casting the concrete in situ according to the design depth. Quality control of concrete integrity in the bored pile is impossible to check visually because it is embedded in the borehole. Therefore, non-destructive test methods with Pile Integrity Test (PIT) and Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) are commonly used to obtain an overview of the concrete integrity of bored piles.
